And so, he let her go.

She was sending selfies in Australia for 3 days. Her last message was pagbigyan sa mag-extend dahil nag-enjoy daw siya. He let her.

But after that, nada. He tried contacting her in every way. Wala itong sagot.

He was so fucking worried. Di niya yata kakayanin kung may mangyari sa mag-ina niya. He couldn't sleep. He was always drinking. His family helped him to find her when they found out how wasted he was.

He was more scary now. The employees did not know how to handle him. There was no Aleera to tame him. His ways were even ruthless than before. They knew it has something to do with his missing wife and heir.

Thanatos became a beast.

Pero si Aleera... parang naglaho.

They couldn't find her. Hinalughog niya ang Australia. He tried to go to New Zealand, Rome, and England. Those are her favorite places. Ngunit wala din. He broke a wine glass in frustration. One time, he screamed so much and Helen caught him. He was crying. Helen sobered him up, she was hurt to see him like that.

Even Aleera's dad is becoming helpless. Wala itong ka-alam alam kung saan ang kaniyang anak. Her brother that was with seemed to be depressed, too. He met with him when he came back. Isang linggo siya doon sa Australia, pero ang ate niya ay hindi na bumalik.

"She disappeared." nanghihinang sagot nito. "But I have a feeling she's okay. She didn't say where but she told me she'll be fine."

He looked at himself in the mirror. Magulo ang itsura. He reeks of alcohol. He feels awful but the feeling of longing is the most dominant emotion. He misses her warmth and scent, nasanay siyang lagi itong katabi.

He's terribly miserable right now. If only she could see him.

"Asan ka na? Sabi mo mag-papamiss ka lang..."

A month has passed.

Then an email appeared.
