A new heir is coming!

The widely-known business tycoon Thanatos Simeon Ambrosia of Ambrosia Empires, Inc. is reportedly expecting a child with his secretary, Aleera Natividad.

What we know about her is that she graduated a business-related course in UP Diliman as a summa cum laude. She came from humble begginings in Laguna. She initiated big events in her career in Ambrosia Empires, Inc. She is commended by different personalities for her work.

Thanatos Ambrosia was previously linked to some models and heiresses before — yet we heard no confirmation from him. Ambrosia Empires released a statement last night, confirming the coming of a new heir. The whole topic trended number 1 on Twitter. It also became the talk on other social media. It was big news in the business industry. If they're married or not — still unclear.

Nasamid ako sa mga nabasa ko. Napasapo rin ako ng noo. It has only been yesterday nung inaannounce ni Thanatos na siya ang ama ng dinadala ko. He released a formal statement saying about the baby without confirming nor denying our marriage. Atleast wala sa company ang openly nagpapakalat na kasal na kami. Tho I doubt, they probably shared it with their friends now.

I decided to go down the other pantry — which is accessible to many. Actually, may inabot muna ako sa logistics na same floor lang. Multitask, duh. Dumiretso ako sa pantry afterwards. May gusto akong snack doon na wala sa presidential pantry. Ngumiti ako nang makasalubong ko ang ibang empleyado. Lumabas ako at kinausap ang department head.

I cleared things up about his inquiries. He then greeted my pregnancy before going back to his cubicle. Aalis na sana ako nang may marinig ako.

"Naku, baka naman inako lang ni Sir Thanatos at hindi naman sa kaniya."

Natigil ako sa kinatatayuan. Bumubulong ba sila o sadya iyon?

"You dared to question the future heir of Ambrosia Empires?" mas nanginig ako nang marinig ko ang boses ng asawa ko.

I faced him. He was mad—no, furious. The poor woman struggled on her papers, trying to cover her face. Nanginginig na iyon at hindi alam ang gagawin. Who would? Thanatos' gaze were intense.

Sobrang ramdam ang tensyon sa paligid.

"I don't want to see you here again, miss. You not only insulted my wife, but you insulted me."

Samantalang yung babae ay naiiyak na. His eyes motioned to the team leader, I think. With that look, they know what to do.

Umalis kami doon, with every employees respecting our move.

"Bakit ka nandoon?" mahinang tanong ko nang kami na lang dalawa.

"I was looking for you."

"Why?"

He cocked his head, hesitating to answer. "Someone wants to meet you."

"Ija, good morning! Hindi mo naman sinabi na dala-dala mo ang apo ko." bungad ng ama ni Thanatos, si Sir Hades Ambrosia. "Should I fire you for lying?"

Nanigas ako sa kinatatayuan ko.

"Dad." my husband warned.

He was sitting on the chair in front of Thanatos' table. He brought his black cane.

Sir Hades chuckled. "I'm only kidding. But yes, Aleera, call me Dad. Hindi ko maintindihan bakit itinago ng anak ko ang kasal niyo at pagbubuntis mo, pero welcome na welcome ka sa pamilyang Ambrosia."

Gusto ko sanang magsalita ngunit biglang bumukas ang pinto ng opisina.

"Kuya," bati ni Eros na may magandang ngisi. Kasama nito si Helen.

"Hello, sis-in-law, I knew you'll be an Ambrosia sooner or later!" Bumeso siya sa ama at kay Thanatos.

"Do you know anything about this, Helen?" tanong ng ama nila.

"Like you, I have any idea about this." Umiling pa ito. Tapos ay bumaling siya sa akin. Her eyes shine with excitement nang makita ang tiyan ko. "You look sexy pregnant. Is it a boy or a girl?"

"Feeling ko lalaki." Eros confidently said.

Helen scrunched her face. "Please, not another boy to deal with."

Eros ignored her. "Ambrosia clan mostly has boys. Si Helen lang naman ang error."

Hinampas siya ng kapatid. Bumelat si Eros.

Nakamasid lamang ako. Maya-maya ay may dumating muli at nagulat ako sa mga bisita.

Kinabahan ako ng pumasok sina Poseidon at Zeus Ambrosia, ang mga kapatid ni Sir Hades.

Nakasunod sa kanila ang kanilang mga anak. Tigtatlo ang anak ng Big Three. Sina Apollo, Achilles, at Ares ang mga anak ni Sir Zeus. Ang mga anak naman ni Sir Poseidon ay sina Hermes, Triton at Helios. Pawang mga kalalakihan.

"Don, asan si Ariel?" tanong ni Sir Hades–er, Dad–kay Sir Poseidon. Tinutukoy niya ang asawa nito.

"Kasama ni Eliza," sagot naman nito. Si Mrs. Eliza, o mas kilalang Elizabeth Ambrosia, ay isang beauty queen na ay asawa ni Sir Zeus.

Tanging si Sir Hades lamang ang byudo sa kanila.

"Bro, naunahan mo pa ako!" ani ni Hermes. Noong nakaraang buwan lang naming nabalitaan na buntis na ang asawa niya. Maliit pa ang tiyan.

Isa-isa nila akong binati. Namula naman ako. I can't believe the Ambrosia clan are here! Too many gods in one room.

"We brought fruits," Ares announced.

Naramdaman kong humawak si Thanatos sa bewang ko at bumulong, "I'm sorry. I didn't know they'll be here." Hinaplos haplos pa niya ang gilid ko.

"Okay lang." I assured. "A bit overwhelming but it's fine."

I wandered my eyes back to them. Si Helen ay inaasar ng dalawang pinsan.

"I can't believe we'll both have an apo." sabi ni Poseidon kay Hades. Lumingon ito kay Zeus. "Ikaw, wala?"

"Ang ganda mong buntis, Aleera." Achilles complimented.  Namula muli ako.

"S-Salamat."

"Pambihira si Thanatos. Laging ganiyan. Tatahi-tahimik pero delikado." komento ni Apollo. Tumawa si Triton. Si Thanatos naman ay kanina pang napipikon.

Naramdaman kong tumunog ang cellphone ko. I showed it to Thanatos and excused myself.

Sinagot ko ang tawag. "Ate, buntis ka?"
