It has been a week after I gave birth.

I gave birth to a fluffy baby girl. She is beautiful.

Ang hirap pala. You need to be alert and hands-on. Nagkukulang ako sa tulog, my body hurts, and sometimes I get stuck in sadness.

But I look at her and I feel a warmth that I know I could only get from her.

Dad and Evan stayed with me the whole time. They both adored her. Evan is smitten to his niece.

"Tigilan mo nga, sawa na siya sa mukha mo." Sabi ko nung pinanggigigilan niya.

"Hehehe. Gusto ko rin ng baby girl."

Umirap ako. "Magtigil ka. Ni wala kang girlfriend."

"Who needs a girlfriend if we have the best girl?" he cooed as he lifted her baby arms.

"Where is Oliver?" I asked Evan. Kung hindi lang ako nahihirapan mag-labor, tawang-tawa siguro ako sa kaniya. Kawawa naman. Sobrang na-paranoid. But I'm deeply grateful to him. He witnessed and provided for my pregnancy. Mababaliw yata ako kung wala yung antics niya.

"With his girl, probably. She's from Manila and she's a complicated one. She makes his life a living hell, it's hilarious." Evan let out an evil laugh.

True ba? Did Oliver finally met his match? "Huh, interesting. Gusto ko tuloy makilala."

He shrugged. "Ask him."

I bid my goodbye afterwards. I had to go out sa bayan to buy her vitamins. I saw different people along the roads. Nagtagal ang tingin ko sa mga office workers na papasok pa lang.

Grabe, parang kailan lang. I'm always out on the run because of my demanding job. Now, I'm a mother.

Nahagip ng paningin ang isang pamilyar na mukha at bulto.

Namamalikmata lang ba ako?

Mabilis akong naglakad. Lumingon ulit ako at wala na siya.

And then there he was. Ramdam ko ang laki ng galit niya. Sasakalin niya ba ako? Instead, binuhat niya ako.

Badtrip. Wala gaanong tao sa parte na 'to dahil maaga pa.

"Ano ba! HOY! KIDNAPPING 'TO!" he was locking my legs at sinapak sapak ko ang likod at balikat niya. Dinala niya ako sa loob ng sasakyan.

Napaupo ako at nakaramdam ng pagkahilo.

"Now you can't escape me, hon."

"You're gonna go back to the mansion with our baby, Aleera. I gave you enough time." He said sharply, his face remaining stoic.

He knows... that I lied?

"What did you name her?"

Di ko siya sinagot. I focused my gaze outside.

"Bring me home. I'll show the way."

He deserves to meet her, at least.

"Sigrid." he repeated as he caresses her cute face.

I still included the name of her father. It is her right. And technically, we're still married. Maybe when I don't need to take care of her 24/7, I'll finally talk to him... we need to sort things out maturely like proper adults would.

Apparently, Sigrid was my new-found strength.

Hindi ko nga lang in-expect na ganito kaaga.

Sigrid giggled uncontrollably. Gawa iyon ng stubbles niya.
