chapter thirteen

Jaden and I whispered so no one else could hear.

Maddy- Why are you so mad?

Jaden- You still like Ryland don't you.

Maddy- I don't like him but I have known him all my life and I just hate to see him go.

Jaden- Yeah, okay. You know what, just go back to where you came from. None of this would have happened if you were here.

I ran out of the room crying, I ran all the way home and went to my room. I was screaming and crying. I cut, I didn't want to but I did. I couldn't believe that Jaden would say that. It wasn't 5 minutes before the boys showed up.

Bryce- Maddy! Can you please open the door?

Maddy- NO GET AWAY!

I screamed in pain.

Bryce- Please open the door.

Maddy- NO!

Bryce kicked down the door and came into my room. I was sitting in the corner of my room. He came to me and held me so tight. I started crying to his chest.

Bryce- Shh, shh, shh, baby it's going to be okay but, you have to tell me what happened.

Maddy- It was Jaden! He told me to go back where I came from and that nothing bad would have happened if I weren't there.

Bryce- OMG! I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!!

Maddy- Dad! No, I want him to stay here with us. He was mad at me. That was probably the reason why he said that.

Bryce- Well why was he mad at you?

Maddy- I told him that I was going to miss Ryland.

Bryce- He is coming home tomorrow and I want you to talk to him.

Maddy- Okay.

It was the next day. Today I had to talk to Jaden. I got up out of bed and looked in the mirror. I was a mess, I was so puffy. I got in the shower and got dressed in this:

I walked downstairs to find Jaden sitting by the kitchen counter. I turned right around and tried to go back upstairs when Jaden yelled my name.

Jaden- Maddy!

Maddy- Yeah?

Jaden- Can you come here?

Maddy- What for?

Jaden- Just come here.

Maddy- Okay.

Jaden and I talked it over and we were cool again. I walked back upstairs and saw Griffin sitting on my bed.

Maddy- What are you doing Griff?

Griff- We need to talk.

Maddy- Okay.

Griff- I am going to be going to college. It is very far away and I won't be able to see you for awhile.

Maddy- What.

I said as I was crying.

Maddy- You can't leave me. You are the one that I talk to when u need help.

Griff- I know and I'm sorry but I have to live my life outside of social media.

Maddy- But I need help.

Griff- Well I don't leave until tomorrow so what's up?

I rolled up my sleeve and I saw Griff start to cry. 

(Griff needs to tell someone about the cuts. Who should he tell?)
