When I woke up I heard someone blasting Still Softish. Then I realized it was coming from the TV in the living room.
Maddy- Turn it off!
Blake- Please!
Bryce- Separate from each other than.
Maddy- Okay.
I sat up and separated away from him.
Bryce- More.
Now we were at opposite ends of the couch.
Bryce- Better.
I rolled my eyes.
Bryce- Now it is time for Maddy's talk.
I got up and walked away with him.
Maddy- What did you want?
Bryce- I know I let you go on a date with this kid but he gives me bad vibes.
Maddy- He has to go to school tomorrow and he said he will try to stay with a friend.
Bryce- That's not the point I don't care if he stays here but, I do care if he's with you.
Maddy- We have a lot of things in common. We have helped each other cope with those things over the past few days. He isn't harming himself, or anything bad. He just needs a friend and if you don't like that then...I can't like you.
Bryce- Maddy I didn't know he meant that much to you.
Maddy- Well...he does.
I walked away. A tear fell down my face. I wiped it and snuggled up with him again.
Bryce- Maddy don't worry I will tell them.
Maddy- Thanks.
Blake- What did he say.
Maddy- He didn't really say anything. I told him that you mean a lot to me.
Blake- Baby, you mean a lot to me too.
I smiled and yet another tear rolled down my cheek. I looked down to hide it. He lifted my chin and wiped my tear.
Blake- You don't have to hide from me bub's. It's okay.
Maddy- I need to get a good cry in.
Blake- Me too.
Maddy- Come on let's go cry together.
I took his and led him into my room. I put on a big hoodie with booty shorts on. We just sat there and cried while cuddling.
JADEN'S POV:
I remember when we first got her. She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I didn't show it because I knew Griff was her favorite. I thought I was over her, I guess not. Every smile she puts on her face, or tear that falls, just reminds me that the only thing left that I have of her are memories. God what am I thinking, I'm going crazy.
MADDY'S POV:
We finished our crying session and it was only 1. It's going to be a long day. We walked downstairs and had some lunch and then I decided to go for a walk on the beach. Alone. I changed into this:

I walked out and skateboarded to the beach. I picked my board up and went down to the water and stared into the distance.
??- It's a nice view.
Maddy- Yeah it is.
I turned around and saw that it was someone I knew. I couldn't remember who though.
??- What's your name?
Maddy- Maddy, how about you.
??- Nick. (nick bean)
As soon as I heard the name all of the memories flooded back.
Maddy- Nick, do you remember me?
Nick- No, but you do look familiar.
Maddy- I am Christa's daughter. (my mom's name was Christa and my step dad's name was John. Their random)
Nick- You can't be.
Maddy- Here I am and there you are.
He was John's son. We used to get locked in closets a lot. We only had each other as friends. He is a year older than me.
Nick- I can't believe this.
Maddy- Neither can I. So have you gotten adopted yet?
Nick- Yeah, you?
Maddy- Yeah.
Nick- That's good.
Maddy- Do you want to maybe grab some ice cream and then you can come over to my place for a little bit?
Nick- That would be great! I will ask my parents and then tell you what they say.
Maddy- Okay!
He walked up to his parents. They looked really nice, it looked like he had little sisters, they were twins.
Nick- They said yes.
We went to an ice cream shop. The whole way home we just talked and laughed and had a good time.
Maddy- Before we walk in I have to tell you a little something. I live with all boys. The guy that adopted me lives with his friends. I have a guy friend that is staying with us for a while so he is here too.
Nick- Okay.
We walked into the door and everyone looked at us.
Maddy- Guys, this is Nick. Nick this is Blake, Bryce, Griffin, Anthony, Jaden, Kio, and Quinton.
I said pointing at each one of them.
Maddy- Nick was my step dad's son, we used to get locked in a lot of closets together. I met him at the beach today and we spent the day catching up.
Bryce- Hi Nick I'm Maddy's dad.
Nick- Bryce right?
Bryce- Yep that's me.
Maddy- I am going to show Nick my room.
Bryce- Okay.
We walked up stairs and I showed him my room. We hung out for a bit and then he went home. I was laying in bed and someone knocked on the door.
Maddy- Who is it?
??- Blake.
Maddy- Okay come in.
Blake sat on my bed and started playing with my hair.
Blake- Nothing is going one between you and Nick right?
Maddy- No, we are just friends I promise, I told you I like you!
Blake smiled and we just chilled. I got a shower changed into some sweats and a t-shirt and went to sleep.
