chapter fourteen

I was getting ready to go on a date with Dre. I wore this:

I had gotten all ready and got my hair done. I got in an uber because I was supposed to meet him at chick-fil-a. I got there and waited for about 20 minutes for him. He didn't show up. Not even a text telling me he wasn't going to be here. I called.

Maddy- Kio?

Kio- Yo what's up?

Maddy- Uh can you come pick me up from chick-fil-a?

Kio- I thought Dre was bringing you home?

Maddy- He didn't show up.

Kio- Oh sorry. I will be there in a few minutes.

Maddy- Okay.

I waited for about 10 minutes and Kio showed up. I walked out into the car and he drove off. A few minutes later I got a text from Tony.

TEXT'S:

Tony:

Hey maddy!

Maddy:

Hey.

Tony:

I need to tell you something...

Maddy- Go for it!

Tony:

You and Tony had a date tonight right?

Maddy:

Yeah, he didn't show up though.

Tony:

He went to a party last night and came home with a girl. I don't know who it was but he took her on a date today. That's why he didn't show up.

Maddy:

What?

Tony:

I'm so sorry Maddy.

Maddy:

You don't have to be sorry for something your brother did. Bye Tony.

Tony:

Bye Mads.

MADDY'S POV:

I was crying crazy hard. It was silent though I didn't want Kio to hear. We got home. I covered my face with my hair so that the boys wouldn't see.

Bryce- Hey Mads how was your date?

Maddy- He *sniffle* he didn't show up.

Bryce- Why didn't he?

He walked up to me and combed my hair back behind my ear with his hand. He saw the mascara and tears rolling down my face.

Bryce- Maddy relax It was just a date.

Maddy- On the way home I got a text from Tony. He said that Dre went to a party and brought a girl home and went on a date with her today. That's why he didn't show up to ours.

Bryce- That son-of-a-bitch!

Maddy- I'm going to go to my room.

Jaden- No you're going to come to my room.

Maddy- Why?

Jaden- I will tell you when you get up here.

I walked to Jaden's room and laid down on his bed. I started crying harder and harder by the second. I could barely breathe.

Jaden- Breathe Maddy. Breathe.

Maddy- Why, why, why? He took my v-card and dropped me.

Jaden- I'm sorry.

Maddy- AHHHHHH!

I screamed. It was loud. Jaden stuffed me into his chest and kissed my forehead.

JADEN'S POV:

I was so mad at Dre. The way he just cheated on Maddy. Just the thought of it made me sick. The boys and I aren't going to do anything to him. We are going to make the most of it but, tomorrow is the day I tell Maddy what I think we should do...
