chapter 24

I woke up feeling like shit. I knew that today was going to be a day that I would lay in bed all day and do nothing. I woke up and immediately took my pill. The doctor said that it would make me feel a little but weird and loopy. I took it and laid back down. I started to work in school. Luckily I was home schooled because I wouldn't want to miss work.

Quinton- How's my best friend doing?

Maddy- I am doing okay. School sucks.

Quinton- Yeah?

Maddy- Yeah.

Quinton- Do you need help with anything?

Maddy- Nope.

Quinton- Okay I am still going to chill over here for a little bit.

He said while sitting on my love sac.

Maddy- That sounds good!

JADEN'S POV:

This morning I wanted to do something special for Mads. I drove to Starbucks and got her a Pink Drink, it's her favorite. ( If you don't like it imagine something else.) I also went to the store to buy her flowers. I knew that red roses were her favorite. I drove home and walked up to see her laughing and having a good time with Quinton. That made me mad. That used to be me. I would go in there and make her doing school fun. INstead of me being in that spot it was Quinton. I interrupted.

Jaden- Morning Mads!

Maddy- Morning.

Jaden- I got you some things to make you feel better.

Maddy- Roses? My favorite. A Pink Drink too? Thanks bubba.

Bubba? That's a new name.

Jaden- You're welcome!

QUINTON'S POV:

When I heard Mads call Jaden "bubba" My heart dropped. I knew that there couldn't be anything going on between them because they were basically siblings but I was still jealous.

MADDY'S POV:

I finally finished school and I took a nap. I didn't think that medicine did anything but when I woke up I felt like I was up in the clouds. I took out my phone and went on my secret Tik Tok account.

Maddy- Have Yall ever wondered why cars can't fly? I mean I thought that anything is possible. So if any of you guys make cars, make one that goes in the sky.

I posted it and watched as the comments filled up. "Are you high?" & "Can I come smoke with you?". I walked downstairs. My eyes were bloodshot. I 100% looked high. I knew that Jaden would notice because he is always baked.

Jaden- How was ur nap?

Maddy- It made me hungry.

I grabbed cheetos and peanut butter. ( I had to come up with a weird snack lol)

Jaden- What are you eating?

Maddy- What does it look like?

I said looking up at him. Jaden started laughing.

Jaden- Oh my gosh. I knew the doctor said it would make you loopy but I didn't think she meant like this.

Bryce- Jaden have you seen Madd- Oh there you are.

Maddy- You found me!

Bryce- Are you high?

Jaden- Remember? The medicine?

Bryce- Oh yeah.

Jaden- Something is going on in her brain. I mean look what she is eating!

Bryce- Ew!

Maddy- It's good, you want some?

Bryce- I think I will pass.

Maddy- You're missing out.

Bryce- Have you seen her new Tik Tok Jaden?

Jaden- No, why?

Bryce showed him the Tik Tok. Jaden started laughing uncontrollably.

Jaden- A f-f-flying c-car?

Maddy- Why not it will be fun?

Jaden continued laughing. The next thing I remembered is falling asleep on the couch.
