chapter 21

I woke up at 5:00 am and felt sick to my stomach. I got up off the couch and ran to the bathroom. I kneeled down and threw up. I felt a hand on my back.

??- It's okay to let it out.

I immediately knew it was Quinton as soon as I heard his voice. When I finished I brushed my teeth and laid on the bathroom floor.

Quinton- Are you sick?

Maddy- No I just think I ate something bad.

Quinton- Okay. Let's go back to bed and see if you feel better when you get up, okay?

Maddy- Okay.

We decided to go to my room instead of back on the couch. It was about 9:00 when I got up again.

Maddy- Oh no not again.

I ran to the bathroom and threw up again. I was all alone this time. No one came which I wasn't mad about. I finished, brushed my teeth and went downstairs. My dad was sitting at the kitchen counter.

Maddy- Hey dad.

Bryce- Hey, why are you up so early?

Maddy- I think I might be sick.

Bryce- Sick?

Maddy- Yeah I woke up and threw up last night, then I went back to sleep and threw up not too long ago.

Bryce- You should've come and got me. I would've laid in bed with you for a few minutes.

Maddy- It's okay Quinton was there.

Bryce- Quinton?

Maddy- Yeah we fell asleep on the couch and when I threw up he woke up and took me to my room because it would be more comfortable.

Bryce- Okay.

Maddy- Do we have any medicine?

Bryce- Yes.

He handed me the medicine and I took it.

Bryce- We have to go to the Hype House today, it will only be for a little bit though.

Maddy- Sounds good.

I decided to just hang out on the couch for a little and wait for the rest of the boys to wake up. All of us were downstairs, except Quinton. It was around 11 o'clock. I knew he would be up soon.

Quinton- You left me alone.

Maddy- Sorry, I didn't feel very well so I came down here.

Quinton- Still not feeling good?

Maddy- Nope.

Quinton- Well if it makes you feel any better, I had a lot of fun last night.

Ant- Last night? What did you do last night?

Maddy- We just hung around, and watched a few movies.

Kio- Yeah nothing else happened at all.

He said sarcastically.

Maddy- Shut up Kio!

I said laughing.

Ant- Maddy can I talk to you for a second?

Maddy- Yeah.

Ant- Alone?

Maddy- Oh yeah.

We walked to another room.

Ant- You and Quinton?

Maddy- No, yes, I don't know. It's complicated. I am taking a break from boy's because I get hurt too much but I like Quinton so...

Ant- The last girl he was with he cheated on her. (no hate on quinton it's just for the story) I'm not saying that you shouldn't be with him, just be careful.

Maddy- Okay.

He was walking away.

Maddy- Ant?

He turned around.

Maddy- Thank you for looking out for me.

Ant- No problem.

We walked back into the living room.

Bryce- Is everyone ready to go to the Hype House?
