chapter thirteen ( i missed chapter eleven so i am making 2 thirteens!)

Griff- Why the hell did you do this?

Maddy- Two reasons one, I missed the numbness it gave me and two, Jaden.

Griff- Jaden?

Maddy- Yeah he told me to go back where I came from and no bad things would have happened if I was never here.

Griff- Oh my gosh! Why did he say that?

Maddy- I told him that I was going to miss Ryland. I guess he just didn't understand that I have known him my whole life. Before he even did those things to me he would save me from getting hit by my parents.

Griff- I have to tell someone, I am going to be gone soon and I don't want you doing it again.

Maddy- I don't want anyone to know. What if they think I'm a freak?

Griff- They won't. If they do I am going to make them leave.

Maddy- Okay.

Griff- I'm going to tell Josh to come here, just wait.

Maddy- Okay.

I waited for Josh and Griff to come.

Josh- Hey Mads.

Maddy- Hey.

Josh- Griff told me you had to tell me something.

Griff- She does.

Maddy- Can you tell him?

Griff- Sure.

Griff- Maddy has been cutting. She said that she missed the numbness it made her feel and Jaden told her to go back where she came from and stuff.

Josh- YOU'VE BEEN CUTTING??!?!!

Jaden- Who has.

Maddy- Oh no.

Griff- No one.

Jaden- My ass, now who has been?

Josh and Griff looked at me.

Jaden- MADDY!?!?

Maddy- Great, now everyone knows.

Jaden- Why?

Griff- You, dumbass!

Josh- Yeah bitch, you hurt my sis.

He was starting to cry.

Maddy- The stuff you said to me at the hospital, before I ran out.

Jaden- I told you I was sorry.

He said while sniffing, trying to hold his tears back.

Maddy- Yeah not until after I did it!

Jaden- Where are they?

Maddy- Where are what?

Jaden- The blades.

Maddy- Oh...

I hesitated to tell him.

Maddy- In my dresser, top drawer.

Jaden opened the drawer and got them out.

Jaden- And the one you used?

Maddy- I already threw it out.

Jaden- I'm not stupid.

Maddy- In the trash.

Jaden- Maddy, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt you like that. I was mad because you told me that you would miss Ryland. And after all the things that he has done to you...

Maddy- I understand, It's okay.

Jaden- If you ever feel like doing it just come to me okay?

Maddy- But what if i bother you?

Jaden- You could never bother me.

Maddy- Okay well I have plans to hang out with Dre so i have to get ready!

Jaden- Okay, I love you!

Maddy- Love you too!
