I can't believe that I saw my sister today. I was so happy. I knew she wouldn't be happy when she saw who the other member was. Lets just say that they don't have the best past. His name is Ryland. He is my best friend, he used to think they were dating and try to do stuff with her all the time. She was just a little girl, so hopefully she doesn't remember him.
Nick- Hey Ryland.
Ryland- Sup bro.
Nick- I have to talk to you about something serious.
Ryland- What's up?
Nick- Do you remember my sister?
Ryland- Yeah I do.
He said with a smirk.
Nick- Well, she got adopted by the Sway House, and I got to see her today.
Ryland- Oh, well you know I'm not the same person I was a while ago. So I promise to you that I wont do anything to hurt her.
Nick- Thanks, I really appreciate it.
Ryland- No problem.
I was relieved that he said he wouldn't do anything. I am going to take him to see her tomorrow.
MADDY'S POV:
I woke up the next day and I felt amazing! I got a shower and got dressed into this:

I got a text from my brother saying that he was on his way over with a surprise. I hate surprises. I ate breakfast and waited for him to show up. Then finally I heard a knock on my door. I ran up to it with a smile on my face but as soon as I opened it, my face dropped. It was Ryland. He was right there in front of me. I was so scared, I remembered all the things he did to me a while back. I took a step back away from the door.
Ryland- Don't worry Maddy, I'm not the person I used to be. I won't do anything to hurt you.
For some reason I believed him. I loved him so much back then, I don't know how I couldn't. I ran into his arms and didn't let go.
Maddy- I missed you so much.
Ryland- I missed you too.
We let go and they asked for a house tour. I grabbed Ryland by the hand and got close to him. I felt safe, I still loved him. How was I going to tell Dre? I was showing him the house and we got to my room.
Maddy- And this is my room.
Nick- Wow it's huge.
Ryland- It's amazing!
Maddy- Thanks.
We left the room and went into the living room. All the boys were in there.
Bryce- Who is this extremely handsome man, and why is he holding hands with my daughter?
Maddy- Dad, this is Ryland, Ryland this is my Dad.
Ryland- Hi.
Bryce- Hello.
While he said that Jaden came up to us and split us apart.
Jaden- Y'all are way to close!
Ryland- Sorry.
Jaden- It's whatever.
Jaden looked mad. We were going to watch a movie I was about to sit on Rylands lap when Quinton pulled me away and put me on his lap. He whispered in my ear.
Quinton- I don't think so.
Maddy- Sorry.
Quinton- I invited Dre over. I don't approve of this Ryland kid.
Maddy- Okay.
A few minutes into the movie, there was a knock on the door.
Maddy- I'll get it!
I walked over and opened the door. It was Dre. He started kissing me. I pulled away to see Ryland give me the look he used to give me when he wanted to hurt me. I got closer to Dre and walked back over to the living room. Ryland wouldn't stop staring at me. I was with Dre so I felt safe. The movie ended and Dre left. He said he had to get back home to his brother and stuff. We all decided to watch another movie, this time a scary one. I was sitting alone on a chair so I walked over to sit with Jaden. I didn't make it past Ryland, he pulled me to sit with him. I didn't resist because I knew what would happen if I did. He whispered in my ear...
Ryland- You have a boyfriend huh?
Maddy- Yeah I do.
Ryland- So you walking around the house holding my hand get all close to me was an act?
Maddy- I don't know, maybe.
Ryland- Well you are all mine now, let's go to your room.
Maddy- I want to watch the movie, and you promised.
Ryland- This is the only time you're going to get away with not coming with me.
Maddy- Okay.
Ryland- Now sit on my lap and act like you love me.
Maddy- Yessir.
We finished the movie and I went upstairs to shower. I got out, put pajamas on and laid in bed. Jaden came in.
Jaden- So what was that all about?
Maddy- What do you mean?
Jaden- Don't act stupid you looked like you were in pain the whole movie.
Maddy- Well, Ryland and I have a bad pass. He used to try to do things with me that I didn't want to do. When he showed up today, he promised me that he was going to change, and he would never do anything to hurt me. However, when he saw me with Dre he turned back to his old self.
Jaden- I SWEAR TO GOD IF HE DOES ANYTHING TO YOU-
Maddy- shh, shh, shh Jaden it's going to be okay. I promise. I'm going to tell Dre about it tomorrow.
Jaden- And what is that going to do?
Maddy- I'm going to tell him that I have to act like I love Ryland. I am still going to be with Dre i just have to hide it for a few days. Ryland will not do anything to me if I am with him.
Jaden- That is going to tear you and Dre up though.
Maddy- No it won't, because then I am going to tell Ryland to meet me somewhere that you and the rest of the boys will be, you aren't going to hurt him you just have to tell him that he has to leave and never come back.
Jaden- Sounds like a good idea, but what if it goes wrong?
Maddy- Then Ryland will do something bad to someone and we will all be screwed.
Jaden- Well, let's hope it doesn't go wrong then.
Maddy- Let's hope.
Jaden insisted that he slept in my room just in case Ryland tried to come back. We fell asleep and I could already tell that it was going to be rough next couple days.
