Fukunaga decides that if he gets to keep waking up like this, maybe mornings aren't the absolute worst thing to ever exist. Stairs and the cold are then.

This morning there's no alarm since they don't need to be anywhere, no obnoxious noises. No excessive amount of sunlight as those cute dark owl curtains are properly closed. The blanket's pulled up to his chin and Koko's throat, completely cocooning around them as he nuzzles into the tan neck. It's so peaceful and warm.

A smile stretches his lips as he sighs serenely, pressing his body closer as his leg that's over the owl's hips curls a little more to pull the older in and his arm around the owl's broad back up to shoulders where it's snaked in a loose hug pulling closer. He wants to be as close as possible to this wonderful feeling and scent, to keep it as his own. Turns out, the room's actually quite dark when he cracks an eye open.

There's a calloused hand threaded in his hair, tugging him into Bokuto's neck under his chin while the arm around his side and back tightens to assist in bringing them closer still and the leg between his shifts slightly up. They're completely tangled in a comfortable living pretzel, chest to chest. So comfy... Tired... Why am I up?

Fukunaga hears the deeper voice coated heavily with sleep rumbling softly, it must be what woke him as a shiver walks his spine pleasantly. It takes a minute to realize that nicely husky voice isn't directed at him causing an unimpressed frown to form.

He tilts his head slightly to discover a phone propped up on the pillow with the screen partially out of his view, he can see someone moving on it but not enough to make out who. Those captivating golden eyes are closed, still tired despite talking on the damn device. He blinks slowly, brain not quite working as he inhales the forest scent around him. He smiles a little and leaves a light kiss on the collarbone that's right there at the fact that even in his half-asleep state, Koko wants to keep him this close. It clicks what's going on to his dismay. He also realizes this idiot on the phone most likely can't see him at all from this angle in this lighting.

Someone called and woke them up on a day off for both of them after they stayed up late with Tora. And did I just kiss someone? Gah, so tired. Go awaaay... He tucks his head back under the owl's chin, nuzzling into place as the hand on his head pets his hair sloppily while pulling him back in. The taller's breath hitches for a second before returning to normal, smiling. After another minute and a lazy response from the other end of the device, his brain supplied the name drilled into his skull.

Kuroo's saying something in a hushed voice, the younger hasn't a clue what they're talking about nor does he care when he could be sleeping in these warm cuddles that he never gets to have that are being disrupted. The owl speaks then the elder cat again before the phone suddenly shifts and the bedhead goes dead silent with wide eyes. For a second, Kuroo thought he 'accidentally' disturbed his boyfriend next to him that he's been trying to get up for practice and school before realizing it's another beast altogether with bloodshot glaring blue eyes directed his way.

This one usually isn't a problem. Generally groggy until he's fed a caffeinated beverage, completely out of it. Like Yaku, but more. He's quite cute and cuddly when he first wakes up if he likes your smell. Other times, not so much. On these occasions (when he decides he isn't going to be up yet so how dare life disturb him or if he doesn't like the scent or voice waking him), he gets rather scary. He always feels guilty later if he actually hurts someone (biting, swatting, kicking, etc.), usually the mohawked boy of their group. He doesn't even know until he's fully awake and even then, he doesn't always remember it happened. Hit or miss really.
