Also, I am changing a little bit of the Umbrella Academy storyline, and adding some things in to fit the idea of my OC.

Full name: Adeline Portra Darko
Age: 30 years old
Number: Eight
Abilities: To manipulate human energy into different forms of energy (Fire, Electricity, telepathy, spirits)
Backstory: Adeline Darko was taken in as one of the eight children Reginald Hargreeves took care of. However, the other children never knew of her existence. After Reginald feared she was becoming much too powerful for herself, he kept her away in the greenhouse, not telling the other children of her existence. At the age of ten, she was beyond Reginald's care, and he sent her away to a psychiatric hospital to remain hidden. There, she was beaten, abused and drugged into submission after the staff found out about her abilities. When she was fourteen, she murdered one of the staff in a rage at him, resulting in her being sent to Juvy. She stayed there until the age of eighteen, where she moved onto State Penitentiary. She was released two years later for good behaviour with the promise of her going to rehab for six months. She was out for a few months, but violating her patrol sent her back until she was twenty four. She got out. Living a life of fear and financial struggle. Reginald eventually sent her money to keep her quiet and away from the family to which she bought an apartment with. She lived a life of peace and loneliness for a few years, until a few days ago...
IMPORTANT SIDE NOTE: Please understand, I have cut out and added a few things from the original Umbrella Academy storyline in order to fit in a new character. I have seen in the past a few people get antsy in the comments about 'Trying to make Klaus straight'. Please do not think that is what I am doing. Klaus's character has been described as Pansexual by Robert himself, so that is how I am expressing his character in this story as well. So, you know, don't come for me.

Conclusion
I have nothing else to say in this chapter except I hope you enjoy this fanfic. Like I said, I own pretty much none of the rights in this book, nor am I making any profit off of it.
