______________________________________3 POV : With the boys
He sat there wide eyed, because he truly didn't mean to kiss her. I mean he wants to and given the chance he would, but he truly just meant to kiss her on the cheek. Not her lips! It's too early for that, and he's classy. While Jordan was busy mentally freaking out, Bennett's mind went completely blank and that's saying something, as for Declan he didn't know what to think. He didn't even know if he saw what he saw, it could be his mind playing tricks on him like that time he imagined someone act came to the parking lot after school. When in reality someone did show up because they thought if they didn't then they'd get beaten up worse.
They were all to busy freaking out, trying to think, ad figure out if what happened really did happen that they didn't notice Naomi getting up and out the door as quick as she could until the door shut, and by the time Jordan had gotten up to caught her she was already in the car backing out of the driveway. There's no point and wasting energy running after the already gone car when he's going to need it to go back inside and face the somehow scary looking best friends he left behind. He shook his head and took a deep breath before heading into the belly of the beast.
When Jordan walked in he thought he was going to get a big lecture and maybe some yelling mixed in, but when he walked all he got was heated glares which seemed career then the lecture and yelling. He sat down on the couch and flicked his eye from Bennett to Declan and back again, this went on for hours it seemed to him but was really just 15 minutes.
And then he crumbled like a crunchy cookie, "Okay! Okay! I didn't mean to kiss her I swear! I meant to kiss her cheek and that's it!" Jordan couldn't handle the silence and stares, he always did hate silence. It's worse than melted ice cream to him, which in his case is really bad.
"Are you telling the truth?" Bennett leaned back against the new couch and brought his left leg up and across his right leg, knowing Jordan really didn't mean to kiss her but wanted to mess with him a little, plus he really didn't care that they kissed it didn't bother him at all. When really he was jealous that he wasn't the one that kissed her, but in all do time will his chance come. Sooner or later, it will happen and he was sure of that even if he had to make up a plan to kiss her, he would most likely tell her of the plan after he kissed her but if she was mad at him it would be worth it to just get a tiny taste of her smooth lips.
"The truth and nothing but the truth, I swear! Cross my heart not to die." Jordan nodded still trying to wrap his head around what happened barely 30 minutes ago.
"Okay whatever I believe in you, I'm going to my room." Declan didn't want to believe what happened, had indeed happened. He stood up and walked up the stairs heading to his room but paused to look into Naomi's 'Girl Cave' as she liked to call it.
He was reminded of that night he couldn't sleep because he couldn't get comfortable in the new bed, so he got up to watch TV or maybe play his new game but when he passed the bookroom there was a dim light filtering through the bottom. Suddenly the TV didn't seem too interesting and instead he wanted to see what she was up to, he opened the door slowly not to wake up the other and saw her sitting in her bay window reading The Three Musketeers which had seen her read quite often. She looked up when she heard the door open, surprised to see Declan awake at such a time, when in truth she should probably be asleep as well. He couldn't pull his eyes away from her, her brown hair was in a messy bun and two strands laid beside her glasses, she was wearing Jordan's red basketball shorts, his grey hoodie, and Bennett's blanket that he gave up trying to get back from her was wrapped around her shoulders.
