I sat on a stool eating my cereal at the counter, my back facing Bennett and Declan. It's been about a week since I yelled at them and Jordan drove away. We haven't talked much, more like not at all. The only time we 'talked'- if you can even count it -was when they sent a group text about how everyone was getting to and from college. I just asked Sang if she can pick me up and drop me off, to which she said yes too. So I sent them curt 'Sangs my ride'.

After Jordan drove off he didn't come back, turns out he's staying with his mom. The guys were talking about it while I finished my laundry, I didn't mean to listen in but I heard them say Jordan and my ears perked at it. I've texted him to no avail. Called him multiple times only to get his voice mail. I gave up after the fiftieth call. I figured if he wanted to talk then he can come to me, he's the one who ran out.

Today was my first day of college along with Sang, but she had already been accepted. She's supposed to be picking me up in ten minutes or so.

The doorbell rang, the sound of crows cawing filled the house. I rolled my eyes, getting up and putting my dish in the sink. Jordan set that up as to 'scare off vampires', but when you think about it wouldn't crows be vampires pets?

I opened the door only to be surprised.

"What took you so long?" Lynn pushed past me and set her bags down, huffing as she stood up stretching her back.

"Honey, you forgot one of my bags." Brenn walked in her the sun shining behind her, making her look like an angel.

Lynn rolled her eyes, blowing her hair out of her face, "Of course dear, how could I possibly forget?" Sarcasm rolled off her tongue like a second language.

"W-what are you guys doing here?" I stuttered, they didn't even call me before coming.

"Oh yes, we heard you replaced us." Brenn crossed her arms raising a slick eyebrow at me.

"Yeah, I need to meet this new best friend." Lynn copied Brenn's position.

"How do you know that?" I didn't think about what I said until it already came out.

"So you have replaced us!" Lynn pointed at me with her index finger. "Who is she? I thought we had something special! Was I-"

"We." Brenn interrupted.

"Were we not enough for you?" Lynn fake cried even going as far as to make her eyes watery.

I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch, "I did not replace you guys, I just have a new friend. Still how do you know, I didn't tell you- which I was planning to." I add.

"Oh Bennett told me about it." Brenn leaned back after her and Lynn took a seat.

"Snitch." I muttered under my breath.

"Why are you calling him a snitch? You usually call him cool." Lynn, who was sitting the farthest from me asked. I really need to work on muttering quieter.

"Something's happened." I waved it off not wanting to get into it.

"Yeah Declan told me something happened but he wouldn't talk about it, I even texted Jordan but got radio silence from him. Which is weird because he's always texted me back." Brenn set her hand on Lynn's knee.

"Yeah." I spoke softly. Even just hearing his name brings back the pounding in my head.

"Why don't you tell us about it?" Lynn leaned forward.

A honk was heard outside and I stood grabbing my back that I grabbed when I opened the door to Lynn and Brenn. I made eye contact with both Declan and Bennett before quickly looking away, I felt horrible for yelling at them when they were just trying to help. They are always trying to help.
