Walking in and seeing the checkered floor and colorful walls just brought a sense of ease to me. So many memories have happened here. I could just see them playing in my head. The laughing, the talking, the smiles.
"Welcome to the- Oh! Naomi we haven't seen you in a while." Cameron looked surprised as he started walking towards me.
I smiled and gave him a hug, "I know it has been a while hasn't it?" I laughed as I let him go.
"Are the guys with you?" He looked behind me before looking back at me.
I shook my head, putting my hands in my hoodie pocket. "No, they're not."
He looked at me strangely before he grabbed onto my shoulders and looked at me more closely, "Have you been crying?"
My eyes got wide as I reached up to feel my eyes, "How can you tell?"
He shrugged, pulling me to a table "I just can."
I raised my eyebrow at him while I sat across from him, "Yeah, sure."
He smiled, rolling his eyes "Anyways, you wanna tell me what made you cry?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you and don't you have a job to do?"
"Try me and no Harvey has it covered." He tilted his head to the side. I looked to where he was looking and saw Harvey talking to some customers at a table, he glanced at us before doing a double take. He looked at me then at Cameron, he started blushing and quickly looked back at the customers. I looked at Cameron to see him smirking and instantly my eyebrows rose to my forehead. He looked back at me and said, "What?"
"I'll tell you what made me cry if you tell me what that was about." I pointed from him to Harvey.
"I don't know what you're talking about." He started looking around while I just chuckled. "Uh huh and I wasn't crying." He slumped before nodding. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, opened my eyes and started telling him what happened. The whole time I was telling him what happened he didn't say anything just listened, and I found that really nice.
He just wanted to listen and when I finished telling him what happened he was quiet for a little bit, probably just taking in what I just told him. "I'm surprised Bennett was the one that made you cry, I always thought that would be Declan." I laughed while shaking my head. "There's that smile." He smiled leaning back in his chair.
I smiled "Thanks." My smile slowly turned into a frown. "I just don't know why he's mad, I would understand if seeing me and Jordan kissing would have made him mad but I asked him that and he said no."
Cameron looked in thought as he looked at me, "Can you think of anything that would make him mad?"
"No." I shook my head. "I mean just the day before he saw me and Jordan he was fine but then he was all big bad mean Bennett the next day." I grabbed onto my head and looked at the table. "I just don't understand."
"Hmm, you wanna hear what I think is making him mad?" I looked up at him and nodded. "I think he likes you," He smiled. "And seeing you and Jordan kissing just made him jealous."
My eyebrows furred as I looked at him, "Wouldn't that be a little extreme for jealousy?"
He shook his head, glancing at Harvey "Jealousy can make people do things they wouldn't usually do, like being mean or ignoring them."
"Sounds like you're speaking from experience."
"Yeah." He laughed. His laughter then quickly died out.
I raised an eyebrow at him, "You going to tell me what happened?"
"I guess I have no choice." He sighed as I nodded. "I.. I saw this guy flirting with Harvey but like in an extreme way, like every chance he got he was hitting on him and Harvey wasn't doing anything about it, that day it wasn't very busy so I was just cleaning the tables and it really started bugging me.. " He laughed looking down. "I'm not proud of this but I quit cleaning and walked over to them and kissed him.. after that the guy stopped and left shortly after."
