Your eyes widen as soon as he plants his lips against yours.

You finally understand. All those times he held your hand and told you he loved you when you were younger. It wasn't in a brotherly way, he had a crush on you. And... he still does.

You get goosebumps, you don't like this. It doesn't feel right. It doesn't feel nice at all. Then suddenly you remember.

You remember everything. That night, after the festival, a boy your age came down the mountains and asked for food. He was so stubborn and angry, but you found it funny. He wore a boars hide. You remember giving him leftover curry rice that night, as you picked on him for eating it so fast.

It wasn't a dream after all. That was real. It was all real.

You shove Kyou off of you. And he looks at you angry and confused.

"I... I don't understand." Kyou says, balling his hands into fists.

"Kyou, I don't love you that way. I'm sorry but I never will." You back away.

"Why not?!" Kyou shouts.

"I just never have. I've always seen you as family. I hope you understand." You say softly.

"You like him? Don't you?" Kyou grumbles.

"That fucking boy you brought along." Kyou says through gritted teeth.

"If I say I do what would happen?" You say making an annoyed expression at Kyou.

"I said if. You don't know if I do or if I don't." You say, trying your best to remain calm.

"Haha... (y/n)... I think you're confused. I.. I know you love me..! I know you do!" Kyou said grabbing your hands.

"Why are you acting like this?! You're different! Why can't you just accept the fact I don't!" You shove him off you.

"Because, I know your wrong." Kyou says inching up to you.

"KYOU LEAVE HER ALONE!" Aru comes out of the bushes along with Inosuke.

Inosuke looks heartbroken, he hated seeing you kiss that man. He hated it so much he wanted to cry. But he had to maintain strong.

"You two were watching us!? This is supposed to be private!" Kyou shouts.

"She gave you her answer! Let it be!" Aru yells.

"You!" Kyou stares at Inosuke.

"You're ruining everything between us!" Kyou yells at Inosuke.

"(Y/n) doesn't love you! She never will! You're hideous! And you have terrible manners and even your parents didn't lo-" Kyou screamed and was about to continue but then, Inosuke punched him in the face.

Kyou immediately got knocked out.

You and Aru stand there in awe.

"BAAHA! nice punch that should be enough punishment for him." Aru smirked.

You start to quiver and tears roll down your cheeks.

"(Y/n)-" Inosuke reaches out a hand to you but you slowly lower it back down.

"Please don't touch me right now." You say shakily, and then walk to the house.

Inosuke and Aru watch as you make your way yourself to the house.
