You're asleep on the cold floor. This is hell. It was cold and sleeping on the hard floor did a number on your back, there wasn't anything to help keep you warm.

But at lease Inosuke was with you the whole time. He held your hand all night.

Suddenly there was a loud thunk that Jolted you and  Inosuke awake.

"Heres your food." Nara says softly placing food through Inosuke's cell and your cell.

"Nara! Wait." You yell before she walks off about to place food through other cells.

"You don't have to do this. We could help you and your sister. You could live happier." You say.

"Our father is a demon, we don't have a choice, if we disobey him he'll eat us," Nara says.

"Does he truly love you if he threatens to eat you?" You say.

"Of course he doesn't love us. He's changed ever since he became a demon. But he pays us, that's why we stay. We don't have any other family, he ate our mom, we have nobody else." Nara says.

"There are places for kids like you. We could help you, this isn't what you girls deserve." You say.

"I appreciate the thought, but I'm good. Thanks." Nara says, walking to the other cells.

"Heres your food." You hear her echo throughout the hall as she places down a plate of food at each cell.

"You okay?" You squeeze Inosuke's hand.

"Cold." He shivers.

"I know, I'm freezing too. But we're gonna get out soon okay?" You say warming up his hands.

Time passes in the cells, Kayo dropped by to give everyone lunch. The food was disgusting, how do they expect you to fatten these people up if they don't at least serve good food? Even Inosuke didn't like the food, and that boy eats a lot. You're guessing its night time since it has been several hours since Kayo dropped off lunch. Kayo was a weird girl, she was a lot more stubborn than Nara, you tried to talk to her too again telling her she doesn't have to do this but she completely ignores you.

Inosuke has been quiet the whole time mainly just sleeping, but I mean what else is there to do? You talked from time to time, you always tried to lighten the mood and tell him funny stories. He listened every now and then but his mind was stuck on the better he could have done, he felt worthless, he knew help was coming eventually but he just hated the fact he had an opportunity to save you and he totally blew it.

Your thoughts are suddenly interrupted by footsteps in the hallway. Its Nara, dropping off dinner to everyone.

"Nara!" you smile once she arrives to your cell.

"ah uh yes?" Nara says noticing her name being called.

"Do you have any other manners to attend to? after this?" You ask.

"ah.. no," she mumbles.

"Would you mind keeping me company?" You smile.

"w-why, you have your cellmates and your boyfriend.." she asks.

"Inosuke is a bit down in the dumps right now, so I'm going to let him rest," you say.

"um.. sure, why not it gets boring every now and then.. nobody to talk to.. Kayo only talks to me if it's about business.." she says.

"ah! thank you so much I appreciate it." You smile sweetly.

"I just need to give everyone their rations... I'll be with you momentarily," she says.
