Inosuke pov.
"Fuck.. guys, we have to retreat! There's too many clones and we lost the demon!" Uzui shouts.

"I hate to say this but you're right, this is stronger than anything we've encountered." Tanjiro sighs.

She's gone. She's gone. I lost her.

"W-we can't go! She took (y/n)! We have to find her!" Inosuke says.

"We can't! There's too much of her clones..!" Uzui says.

"COWARDS!! IM NOT GONNA SIT HERE... AND LET HER DIE!!" Inosuke yells.

"Inosuke it's too dangerous!!" Tanjiro yells.

"IM NOT LEAVING HER!!" Inosuke screams.

Inosuke runs from Tanjiro and Uzui using his explosive beast breathing technique blowing up the heads of any clones in his way.

Even though he's wiped out a few there's still hundreds everywhere.

"I'm sorry my boy." Uzui says, appearing before Inosuke's eyes.

He knocks Inosuke to the ground, completely knocking the wind out of him.

"...! no.." Inosuke mumbles out.

"Tanjiro take him to the infirmary, The rest of the Pillars and I will look around for survivors and save the citizens." Uzui sighs.

"Tanjiro please.." Inosuke whimpers, tears are forming in his eyes.

"Can't..cant leave her.." Inosuke says hoarsely.

"We'll come back for her. I could smell Yui's feelings, she doesn't seem to have any intention to hurt (y/n) she's going to be okay." Tanjiro sniffles a little himself.

Inosuke frowns, tears are already streaming down his face. But he seems a bit more relaxed that you aren't in any harm.

He sobs, he feels like a complete idiot. He failed to save you once again. But this time you're completely out of his range.

"I'm weak.." he sobs, covering his tears with his arm.

"Inosuke, you aren't weak! Sometimes the heroes loose! But we can't give up!" Tanjiro says.

He sniffles.

"Just leave me be.." he cries.

Tanjiro frowns. Inosuke's never been this sad before. Tanjiro whirls Inosuke over his shoulder and takes him to safety.

You wake up in a bedroom you haven't seen before. Is this the corps? Are you safe?
