Autumn's p.o.v.
I was running through a maze, with James and another black-haired boy at my side. We were surrounded by Death Eaters, and were outnumbered quickly. "Argghh" The black-haired boy screamed and I realised that he was hurt. My heart squeezed hard when he hit the floor hard, blood oozing from his wounds. "Sirius!" James shrieked. He was starting to tire and couldn't hold on any longer. Gritting my teeth, I concentrated on the flames and my body began to burn.
"No one hurts my friends!" I exclaimed in gritted teeth at the strain of holding the supernova. The heat was overwhelming that almost everything in my way evaporated. With a flick of my hand, my friends were surrounded by a protective barrier. Wide-eyed, the Death Eaters pressed their marks before disintegrating in my fire. My head throbbed when a pair of red snake-like eyes immediately entered my mind forcefully. "Get out!" I growled. The world was spinning, my flames were out of control...
"Autumn! AUTUMN! YOU'RE ON FIRE!" Rose was screaming on top of her lungs. I jolted awake and realised that I was literally ablaze. Taking deep breaths, I willed the flames to die down.
"What the heck?!" Another two girls sharing the dorm with us crowded around me. "Some sort of greeting, huh?" The brunette grinned. "I'm Hazel Washington. You're immune to fire? That's so awesome!"
"I'm Aurora Jones. Nice to meet you." The other girl with twinkling blue eyes and raven black hair said shyly.
"Umm, you guys aren't scared of me?" I bit my lip, unsure what to expect. "Wait, remind me why we should be scared?" Rose crossed her arms, looking at me like a mother. "Yeah, you just have a...'problem with fire'!" Hazel laughed. Aurora then chimed. "It's cool. We're friends." I looked relieved. Pulling them into a group hug, I whispered. "I'm so happy to have such cool friends."
"Aww, this is so sweet. When did Autumn become so sentimental?" Rose smirked. "Guys, I hate to interrupt but it's time for breakfast and I'm starving!" Hazel pulled us downstairs. "Ouch! Slow down Hazel!" We protested loudly but ran to the hall all the same.
Breakfast was fantastic as always as we stuffed our mouths with the awesome food. What made breakfast even more amazing is the fact that I've found three cool friends that don't judge me because I'm different. And that, made my day so great.
Just then, the head of Bellefuerille, Professor Venus approached us first years. "Hey guys! I'll be your Herbology teacher and I'm the head of Bellefuerille too! All your wrongdoings will affect the house points while your merits will be credited. I do hope Bellefuerille wins the house cup this year as this is the fourth year running we've lost to Papillonnisse. Anyways, these are your timetables." And with a flick of her wands, the parchments flew to us respectively and we swapped. "Oh great! We have all classes together!" Hazel commented. "Duh, Hazel. All first years of the same house have same schedules." Aurora rolled her eyes.
"By the way, we have double potions first and then Divination. Both with Ombrelune." Rose pointed out.
"Just great. Lessons all day with the smarties." I retorted sacarstically. "Hey, don't discriminate. You yourself almost got into Ombrelune." Hazel smirked knowingly. "How do you..."
"I may speak before I think but I'm observant, okay? Besides, the whole school's going on and on about you being a legend."
"Mmm...kay. Noted." I sighed. "Come on! We don't want to be late!" Rose tugged us towards the potions lab where she found us front seats. "Blimey Rose. Shouldn't we sit at the back? I haven't read anything about potions yet." Hazel groaned. "No way!" Three of us chorused and we stared at each other in surprise. "Oh no. This is so bad. I'm friends with bookworms! How great is that?" Hazel complained when we slapped her arm playfully.
