A/N: Hey! I'm back again with these short notes! I do really really appreciate your reads and votes on this book. Honestly, it gives me all the motivation I need to make this story great for you guys! You guys are seriously awesome!
Okay, I apologise for interrupting between the exciting parts but I really have to get my love to all of you out before I continue. A small tip is that a teeny bit of this chapter is constructed from my own feelings.
Anyways, read on and tell me what you think! Luv y'all!
Autumn's p.o.v.
"Give me your arm!" I said hurriedly to Ro who was stumbling, her face as pale as ghost.
"Ch-check su-surroundings." She managed between breaths. Her breaths were short and laboured, her limbs weak as dark red blood trailed out of her arm where she was grazed by the fury's poison. It must have entered her system by now.
"I don't care, seriously, Ro! You're dying! Come on!" I stepped towards her as her eyes rolled backwards, her mouth gurgling thick white foam.
"Come on, stay strong." Rose muttered, stroking Aurora's raven black hair. Haz was on the verge of tears, patting Ro softly, helping her to breath.
"In-in case I die, I love you guys..." Ro struggled to keep her eyes open. Her voice was so faint and weak that I could literally see her soul battling to break free.
"No. You're not dying. Not when I'm here." I said, my voice firm and strong. "Focus on us, Ro. Our memories. Hang on there." Ro nodded as I embraced her frail form. Our memories together flashed in front of my eyes as I sought energy from them.
"Aurora Jones." The black-haired girl smiled sweetly but shyly, clasping my hand warmly.
"But...but you guys don't think I'm a freak?" I stuttered as she laughed softly.
"It's cool. We're friends." She smiled and I felt my heart warm up at the sight of her rich smile. It was innocent, charming and a little hesitant but that just made the smile more genuine. Funny how much effect a smile can have on a person.
...
"Hey, you okay?" Ro asked worriedly as I awakened, finding my head groggy with memories. The dorm was almost empty and I shook my head.
"In case you're wondering, it's dinner time. Here, I sneaked you a pie." She smiled kindly.
"By the way, you do look pale. Do you remember anything at all?" She asked, her large eyes overflowing with worry.
"Where am I? Who are you?" I said weakly as she gasped in horror.
"Please. Tell me this is just a dream. I have to get someone." Her bewildered and panicked look was damn entertaining.
"Wait. This is a dream." I said, a weak chuckle escaping my lips.
"Thank god! Do you seriously want everyone up here swarming around you so soon?" She chided and sat down again.
"No, but your face was too entertaining to resist." I smirked wickedly.
"Since you're capable of joking, I'll leave you to your pie. Be prepared for the questions tomorrow morning!" She winked at me and disappeared. Despite my gloomy mood, I had to suppress a grin.
...
"I caught you staring." She said in a sing-song voice. I jumped wildly, blushing madly as I shook my head in denial.
"Come on, it's not that hard to admit you fancy someone." Her eyes twinkled in amusement as she pouted cutely. Damn, she was hard to refuse!
"Alright. I like Will." I said, the words tasting foreign on my tongue. I have never ever admitted my feelings openly to anyone before and that was weird.
