Autumn's p.o.v.

"Autumn! We were so worried about you!" A loud voice jolted me out of my slumber.

"Yeah, you scared us half to death." I blinked and sat up groggily.

"Guys...you're suffocating me." I wriggled out of their embrace. "What happened, I mean, in class?"

"You mean Occlumency?" Rose asked. "It was horrible! Professor Cheryl muttered a spell and you sort of blanked out. Seconds later you went rigid and started shaking uncontrollably. The professor ignored our gasps of shock and you screamed about something while crying. Hazel here almost rushed forward to grab you but then there was this brilliant golden light that caused the professor to stumble backwards and you had a look of murder and rage on your face. It was..." She searched for a word to describe.

"Epic?" Hazel joked.

Rose glared at her and said, "Scary."

"Right." I looked at my feet. I wasn't sure what to respond.

"Autumn, are you alright?" Aurora spoke up worriedly.

"Umm, I'm fine." I lied. "But I don't feel like talking about it, guys. Maybe some other day?" I pleaded. I really wasn't ready to talk about it. I don't want to have another emotional breakdown, especially in front of them.

"It's fine." Rose patted my arm. "Let's get you downstairs." They half lifted me to the bathroom to get dressed. Moments later, we trotted downstairs, talking about homework.

"You're lucky to have skipped charms. The professor was awful." Hazel groaned at the thought.

"Was it really that bad?" I wondered.

"It was. The stupid doll." Rose grumbled. Wow, that's the first time I've heard Rose bad-mouthing a teacher.

"Professor Valentina was nothing but a jerk. Honey this and honey that. Urghh, thinking of her makes me get goosebumps!" Hazel shivered.

"Well, I'll find out later. We've Charms after breakfast." I fiddled with the timetable.

"Brace yourself." Aurora said in her gentle voice. "History of Magic was boring as usual, no surprises but Herbology was wizard." Aurora continued.

"You only say that because you're a genius at it. Honestly, it's just gardening, and a lot of hard work." Rose commented. "Oh, do I sense a hint of jealousy in Miss Perfect's tone?" I said innocently.

"Shut up!" She growled.

"But shut does not go up." I remarked cheekily.

"Urghh, the hell. You must be feeling loads better to be abe to crack a joke." Rose glared at me.

"Language." Aurora lightly pushed her shoulder.

"Right." A disgruntled Rose muttered unwillingly. Suddenly, I remembered my prank. Smirking slightly, I pulled them quickly into the hall.

"Mmm...Beauxbatons sure feed us well." I watched as the three of them stuff their mouths with food. Chuckling to myself, I whispered while pointing my wand towards them under the table.

"Color mutatio"

The effect was instant. Hazel turned into a bright shade of pink when Rose was showered with fluorescent yellow from top to toe. Aurora, on the other hand, turned blue, which is a perfect match of her robes.

"What is wrong with...AUTUMN RIVERS!" They suddenly came to a conclusion and faced me with murderous looks on their faces.

"Uh oh." I managed to gasp between laughs as I ran out of the Great Hall. Students erupted with laughter when they noticed three students coloured from head to toe with their favourite colours chased me angrily round and round the hall. Madame Maxime chuckled, clearly amused.
