Amara's POV

You look so beautiful in blue, I wish I could say this in person - C

I look around and see a couple of students wandering around, no one really paying attention to me or the note I found. I see that I was wearing a blue off the shoulder top with black jeans. Whoever C is has a lot of time on their hands to be slipping in notes into my locker. The canteen was buzzing with students who were enjoying their lunch and didn't have a weird creepy person watching their every move.

"Guys, I got another note,"  I sit down at our lunch table. Vanessa and Xander were here but Hazel was missing. "Where's Hazel?" I question, eyeing her empty seat.

"Out with Adam today," Xander says whilst I munch on my sandwich. "Did you say you got another note?" He asks and I hold my finger up and try to swallow my food as quickly I can so I can speak again.

"Yeah, this one says, 'You look so beautiful in blue, I wish I could say this in person,' I really want to know who's playing this prank," I say and my eyes fall to the only prankster in Waterstone Academy, Sebastein.

"I don't think it is Sebastien, he loves attention and this doesn't scream attention," Vanessa says as my eyes land on him. But my eyes move from Sebastien quickly to Vincent. He has been bugging me for a week, trying to talk to me and he even asked me to come to Logan's party on the weekend. My eyes must have been drilling holes into his face because he turns in my directions. I quickly turn back to Xander and Vanessa who were talking about their Art Project.

"Okay, so if not Sebastien then who?" I voice my thoughts out loud.

"Maybe you have a secret admirer," Xander says in all seriousness and I burst out laughing. My laugh attracts some attention because 1) it was loud, 2) I snorted.

"Yeah right," I say once I sober up.

"I'm serious! What if someone has a crush on you and can't say it to your face?" Xander adds and I start laughing again.

"Well then can stick these notes right up their arse because this is just creepy. Some girls may find this cute but I for sure don't." I shrug and continue eating my sandwich.

"Keep an eye out for C, you may notice them because you're looking for them now," Vanessa adds and I nod, it's easier to miss things if you aren't paying attention to them.

"So do you guys have any plans for Saturday?" Both of them shake their heads and my smile brightens up. "Good, because we are going to Logan's party, Vincent invited me and I'm dragging you guys too."

"Vincent invited you?" I nod, " I don't know Mara, I don't like parties." Xander added and my face softened a little. He was really shy at gatherings and felt out of place a lot whenever we went to parties, which was very rare. We never liked going to these parties but we went a couple of times a year.

"I completely forgot. It's okay we can go bowling instead." I smile but he shook his head.

"Vincent's invited you, it would be rude for you not to go." He argues back and I roll my eyes.

"He's not my best friend, you are."

"And that's why we are going to go to the party." He smiles and I still shake my head. He cuts me off before I can protest. "We are going, Mara." I smile at him and feel a little bubble in me at the fact that I didn't have to cancel on Vincent.

Wait, what? A bubble? Me? I seriously need to read books less.

We spend the rest of lunch arguing how I couldn't get Pandora to model for their Art project. They then jumped ship and asked ME to model and I nearly ran away. No thanks to that. I start walking to drama when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Hi, Lucy!" She smiles at me starts walking in step with me.

"How's the project going?" She asks and I roll my eyes.

"I'm working with Vincent, how do you think it's going?" I chuckle and see her smile too.

"That's hurtful, cupcake," I hear from the other side of me and see Vincent walking on the other side.

"Shove the cupcake up your arse." Lucy starts laughing on the other side and we go inside the hall.

Mr Turner was talking to the students already here and looked up when we walked in laughing. "Okay so now that all of you are here, I have the next emotion we are going to focus on, anger. Now anger isn't as hard as love, but you can see the difference between fake anger and real anger. When we are acting, we need to make sure we are into the character and that we are feeling the emotions they are. We need to understand them and their emotions. Partners are the same, get your scripts from my desk and start practising."

I look over to Vincent to find that he was already looking at me, I give him a weird look and turn back to the class. I take the sheet and give him one.

"A cheating scene?" Vincent says when he looks at the scene. I look down and see that it was a scene from Holland (A/N made the script up again).

I've read the book on which the play is based on, the book is beautiful. The main character, Phoenix, discovers that she can move things with her mind and hands. To protect her powers and the identity of others who could do the same, she has to carry on living her life, without exposing her secret. Excess emotion would make her lose control over her telekinesis. She's advised against dating because the secret would be harder to keep but is swept off her feet by her brother's best friend, Louie, who then cheats on her. She finds out that he only dated her because she was off-limits which pisses her off and she loses control over her powers.

"Great, I can finally be angry at you and maybe throw something at your head without getting in trouble." I smile and he rolls his eyes.

"Why do you hate me so much?" He says quietly and I'm shocked. He thinks I hate him.

"I don't hate you, I just find some of your actions very questionable," I respond quickly and see a small smile appear on his face. Before I could say anything, he leans forward and kisses me on the cheek. My jaw drops as he moves back and I look at him in astonishment. My heart was racing for some reason and I was sure he could hear it.

"Action's like that?" He asks innocently and I don't trust my voice so I just nod. I clear my throat and try talking about the scene but my mind was hazy. Was he C? Did C stand for the 'cent' in his name? No, this was crazy, it can't be! Only one way to find out.

"Vincent, are you the one who's been slipping in the notes in my locker? Are you 'C'?" I ask whilst looking at him to see if I had caught him in his act.

"What are you talking about?" There was only confusion on his face, nothing else.

"Nothing." I shake my head and I start reading the scene again when he speaks.

"Amara, what's happening?" The way he said my name has my heart racing again. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?

"It's nothing, someone's been slipping in notes in my locker my friend's think I have a secret admirer whereas I think I have a creepy stalker." I shrug and he stiffens.

"Is that what you were reading in the morning?" I nod and take both notes out of my pocket and show him.

"I got that in the morning and the other before lunch."

"You should report this, someone's is stalking you!" Vincent raises his voice and grabs the attention of some of the people working near us.

"Do you actually think they would do anything with me reporting it? They would shut me down as soon as I say the words. I can handle this myself." I say and grab the notes back. "Let's just focus on the scene, for now, I'll see what I need to do about this later." He nods and we start talking about how we need to show the telekinesis.

But I couldn't help but think if it wasn't anyone I know, then who could it be?
