Amara's POV

It was as if time had stood still when Vincent said those words. If he didn't get this dress, that means C did. The walls start to shut and I could barely breathe anymore. My phone buzzes through my clutch and I take it out and see it's a text from C.

Surprise angel. It wasn't Vincent silly x He doesn't love you the way I do. No one loves you the way I do. And I have to say my choice is perfect! You look like a goddess in that dress. - C

"Baby, breathe. In from your nose and out from your mouth." I try and listen to Vincent but it was hard. I start to get sweaty and the room starts to get smaller. My phone buzzes and this time it is a picture. It was of me at this party. My face pales and I feel the room spin before everything goes black.

Vincent's POV:

Amara faints into my arms and I pick her up bridal style and take her up the stairs. Everyone was staring but I didn't care, I had to make sure Amara was okay.

I feel some people following me and I don't say anything. I push my door open and place her on my bed. Nothing made sense at the moment, people were talking to me but my head wasn't in the right place.

"Everyone! OUT!" I hear my mum shout and everyone except her and Wesley stay inside. I could finally think and I sit down on the bed with her.

Her face had lost its glow and even when unconscious she had a look of worry on her face. I gently caress her forehead to get rid of the creases and hold her hand. I feel something wet and notice I was crying.

I quickly wipe my eyes clean and turn to my Mum. "Can you change her clothes?"

She nods immediately and calls for Julie to come and help her. Wesley and I go outside and neither of us says a word. Amara didn't deserve this. The cleaner comes and hands me Amara's phone. She probably dropped it when she fainted. It was unlocked and I see that it was a chat with an unknown blocked number.

I didn't have to scroll much before knowing that it was this was C. He was now texting her. My anger boils and I grip the phone hard.

"Is Savant still working in IT?" I ask Wesley about our IT specialist who works in our company.

"Yeah, he is." Wesley looked confused but didn't ask anything.

"Okay call him right now."

"It's past 11."

"He's 21! He isn't going to be asleep right now." I roll my eyes and Wesley calls him. He picks up quickly and says he will be here in 10 minutes.

Mum walks out as soon as we cut the call. "She's going to be okay." She walks back downstairs to the party and I go back into my room.

Mum had changed her into one of my t-shirts and a pair of old sweat-shorts I didn't wear anymore.

Amara's face looked much more rested now but the glow was still not back. I place my hand in hers and just stay there until Savant comes into the room.

I don't understand why she didn't tell me about C texting her. Did she not trust me? No that's stupid. Maybe she was trying to protect me.

I was thinking to myself about this whole situation and I hear a knock on the door.

"Come in." Savant walks in and I get up from the bed. "Let's talk outside."

We walk back outside into the hallway.

"What's up?" He asks and I hand Amara's phone to him.

"I'm pretty sure this phone has been hacked. I need you to get rid of whatever has hacked it and make sure that no one can hack into it."
