Amara's POV:
Two weeks later.
The chilly wind hits me as I sit on the window sill. We just entered October and the leaves were falling. The whole street looked beautiful with red and yellow leaves scattered around. Pandora was discharged last week after they made sure she was in good shape to head home. Instead of staying at her apartment, we bought all her stuff here so we can take care of her.
C was still out there, lurking in the shadows and stalking the fuck out of me. Hazel was about to go beat the crap out of Connor before I cleared out that he wasn't C and he has an alibi for two of the major C incidents. When Van told me she thought it was Connor, no part of me felt betrayed. I just felt relief.
But now we were back to square 1. Not knowing who C is and him still sending creepy notes.
I'm sorry for hurting your sister. At least now you know how I felt - C
I can't believe I have let you and Vincent stay together. Alas, I am a man of my word and won't do anything. But you'll see him for who he is soon. - C
My love, I have gotten you a muffin for my outrageous behaviour - C
If only you knew who I was, you would love me back. - C
So nothing was over the top and I was back to ignoring C and trying to carry on with my life. Vincent and I were closer than ever and I plan to ask him to be my boyfriend soon. We have been dating for a month and it feels right to ask him. Vanessa's like he should ask me but this isn't the 1920s.
Our scripts were going well. We had perfected every scene to perfection by last week. I spent the last hour practising my lines to make sure I don't forget them tomorrow.
"Penny for your thoughts?" My head snaps toward Harry.
"Just thinking about stuff." I shrug and turn to face him. "Why are you up?"
"I couldn't sleep. What's bothering you?"
"How do you know something is bothering me?"
"I have a degree in Psychology. Give me some credit." I chuckle.
"My sister had an accident two weeks ago. And even though she doesn't blame me, it's kind of my fault." He encourages me to continue. "I begged her to get some ice cream for me and she got in the accident on the way to Tescos." I lie through my teeth.
"It isn't your fault." He smiles at me and his blonde hair flops over his forehead.
"I wish I could believe that. Anyway, I have to ask you something." I change the subject swiftly. "What do you get someone you like for their birthday?" Vincent's birthday is a week away and I haven't gotten him anything.
"My birthday isn't for a couple of months though. No need to get my present so early." Harry grins and I roll my eyes.
"Well then clearly you aren't who I am talking about." I give him an innocent smile and he rolls his eyes.
"I would say, get something meaningful. But not too deep. I assume you guys aren't official?" I nod, "Yeah, so maybe something with a story behind that only you two can understand."
A yawn leaves me, "I should get to bed." We both say goodnight and I close my window and curtains.

Fear. There wasn't a note today but a photo. A photo of me, in my room, SLEEPING. It was taken last night.
I flip the photo over and see that there was a message.
