Amara's POV:
One week before the Valentine Ball.
"I still don't have a dress!" I groan to Pandora over the phone. Every year our school hosts a dance or prom kind of party before the exams to rewards us sixth formers for our hard work. Last year it was the Spring Gala and this year it's the Valentine Ball.
"Let's go shopping today," Pandora says over the phone and I can hear her shuffling around in the background. "I have a meeting at 8 pm so that gives us plenty of time to shop."
"Yeah okay. I'll meet you at the shopping centre in 30 minutes?" I look at the time and it was 1 pm.
"Yeah see you." I'm about cut the call when I hear an unfamiliar voice in the background of Pandora's phone.
"When are you going to tell your sister about us?" The girl asks Pandora and she sighs.
"I just haven't had the time to tell her."
I cut the call before I could hear more of that conversation. Pandora was seeing someone and hasn't told me yet?
I decide to get ready and I'll ask her when I see her in half an hour. I take out a pair of washed-out denim jeans and a white crop top from my cupboard and change into it quickly. My hair was in it natural wavy form so I just brush it and leave it out. Lipgloss and hoops were in and I was ready.
"Mum I'm going shopping with Pandora," I yell as I walk downstairs.
"Is she going to come for dinner?" She asks from the living room and I pop my head in.
"No, she's got a meeting tonight."
"Okay have fun." I kiss her on the cheek and leave to go to the shopping centre.

"Come out!" Pandora yells from the other side of the changing room.
"I look like candy floss."
"Let me see." I walk out and she bursts in laughter. "You actually look like candy floss." I roll my eyes and walk back in.
"This is the last one!" I say as I change into the last dress of the day. I turn to look in the mirror and a smile makes its way to my face.
"Is it any good?" I open the door and Pandora's eyes light up. "It's the one!"
I nod and do a small twirl. It was perfect.
"I'm hungry! Can we get some food?" I ask Pandora and she nods. I quickly go back and change into my clothes and we pay for the dress and go to the food court.
I get a box of Masala Chips and Dora gets a chicken salad.
"So Dora, who's the girl you are seeing?"
She freezes and looks up. "How do you know?"
"I heard you over the phone before I cut the call."
"I was going to tell you! But I didn't know how you would react with me dating a girl." She says quietly.
"Dora, it doesn't matter who you want to date. You are still my sister and I love you. Never think that okay?" I say sternly and she smiles. "Now tell me all about her."

Two days before the Valentine Ball
I open my locker and I see a secret admirer card. Our school had decided that people could send out secret admirer cards to their crushes and then meet them when they come to the party. The idea was cute but speaking from personal experience I don't need another secret admirer.
