Chapter 13

- Homesick -

"Hey, are you okay?" Nag-aalala na tanong ni Diane sa kanya.

Nakasalampak kasi sya sa sahig ng kwarto. Malayang pinapatulo ang luha at nagpipigil ng hagulgol. Halos sabunutan nya na rin ang sarili.

I hate this!

"I'm just having a breakdown, Diane. Don't mind me, I just need to release this"

Biting her lips too much, she can taste the blood oozing from it. Her chest feels so tight, and her heart is pounding too fast. She wanted to scream so loud, but she couldn't seem to find her voice.

She misses home. She wants to leave this place. She wants to go back, so bad. She misses everything; her room, her plants, her housemate, her friends. Being here feels like she's in jail inside this cream colored room.

"You know... I'm good at listening" suhestiyon pa nito.

"Uhm... Can you just hug me?"

Pumikit sya at nag-antay. Nagulat siya noong ginawa nga nito pero hindi ito yung madalas na yakap! She felt a larger body of woman hugging her. Opening her wide eyes, floods of questions lingered in her mind.

Nawala ang iniisip niya dahil sa gulat. Ilang beses pa syang napakurap kurap bago ito nakaramdam na magpaliwanag.

"It's not because of me, okay? It's Eris' command"

Naguguluhan man ay unti unti nang naintindihan ang ibig nitong sabihin.

It must be because of Eris that Diane became life-sized, but how's that even possible?

"Obeying his commands" kumawala nalang sa kanyang bibig ang mga salitang iyon.

That's the only reason she can only think of.

"What do you want me to bring? From the human world"

Napapiksi sya sa narinig.

"What the fuck?!"

There's Eris in front of her. But it looks like a prototype or personification of the man. She was taken aback by the sight. It looks like the petals gathered to form an image of Eris and it can even talk! What the actual fu-

"Sagot na, Ariel" Diane even smirked.

She must be looking like an amazed child!

Di nya na talaga kaya sa mundong 'to! Grabe ang mga abilidad ng mga nilalang na ito? How is that even possible? Nananaginip ba sya?

"I'll only last for some minutes, Ariel. Sabihin mo na o di kita bibigyan ng pasalubong" umirap pa ang lalaki.

Wala syang inaksayang panahon at mabilisang sinabi ang mga gusto.

"ANONG NANGYAYARI RITO, ARIEL?" TAKANG TAKA ang itsura ng ginang sa pinagkakaguluhan nilang mga pagkain.

Maski si Samour ay di maawat sa pagtikim ng mga nakahanda. Ang pixie naman ay bumalik na sa dating anyo nito pagkatapos nya magsabi ng mga pinapabili.

"Di ko alam na mahilig ka pala sa vanilla flavor" bulong ni Eris sa tainga nya.

Nasa kanan nya ito at ngumunguya ng gummy worms. Si Diane ay nakaupo at nakapatong sa lamesa. Habang si Samour ay prenteng nakaupo sa lapag, kapwa ngumunguya ng mga matatamis.

Most of the foods she mentioned are either sweet or sour. There are lots of candies and sweets, which will literally make their teeth ache. Eris brought at least 3 packs of each food she said. She felt her heart swell with appreciation because of the man's sweetness. He never failed to surprise her by his ways.
