"Tara had us followed," Magna blurts. I turn to look where she's looking, two men are leading Kelly up the path through the fields.
As they get closer I notice that Connie isn't with them. "Where's Connie?" I ask Magna who is beside me. Kelly's older sister walks around the corner with a sullen face. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh god," Yumiko says from the tower. I look up, the two women in the tower look upset. I reluctantly look back through the open gates. I see the skinheads walking this way.
Cool, calm, and collected.
Kelly sees them too. She screams as she turns, she moves to run to her sister. I rush out the gates. Someone is holding Magna back.
"Elaine!" Carl yells. I almost make it to Kelly and the guards when Carl grabs me. "Come on," he says as he pulls me back toward the gates.
The guards grab Kelly. "NO! No! Let me gaah!" she screams.
The men drag her to the gates. I grab the woman once she's inside, "They're gonna kill her," Kelly says as she runs to the tower. "Wait," I say as I try to catch up with her.
"Cal close the gate! We're in lock down!" Tara calls to the people.
I scramble to gather myself before I turn to see people crowding, the teachers are taking the children inside.
"Daryl!" Tara yells, my father runs this way.
I climb up the ladder with Daryl and Magna. There is a woman surrounded by walkers, she has no hair. Her mouth and eyes are surrounded by black stains.
Connie is nowhere to be seen.
This woman must be Lydia's mother.
"I am Alpha!"
"We only want one thing from you," her voice is heavy and sharp with a southern accent.
"My daughter."
