Gone Bad

Enid and I walk side by side, she was at the whole other side of the Fair bartering for some fabric. "I think I love him," Enid blurts, "Alden?" I question, "No Jerry," she says. 

I smile, "You're an idiot," Enid says. I look over at her, "He's a good guy, really sweet. I'm happy that you love him," I say. 

"And I'm happy for you," she says as she grabs my arm, "What are you happy for?" I ask. Enid hugs me tightly, "I did a test," she whispers in my ear. 

I pull away just enough so I can look at her, "A test for what E?" I question, "You're pregnant," she says with the widest smile. 

I shake my head, "That's not true, you're lying," I whisper. "I'd never lie to you," Enid says. "Then you're gonna have to catch me," I say. My head is spinning and I can't seem to stay upright. 

Enid helps me to the ground. "Take some deep breaths," she says as she runs her hands over my back. 

"Come on let's get you up," she says as she helps me up. We walk to the nearby bench, "When was your last period?" Enid questions gently as she takes my hand. I wipe some tears with my middle finger. 

"They're not regular anymore, it's every other month instead of every month," I tell her, "It's been about five weeks." 

"Then it's my guess that you're about five weeks along, morning sickness is starting to kick in for you," Enid says.  I place my hands on my stomach, I smile, "I know, you don't have to say anything," she says as she hugs me again. "We should go soon," she says as she points at my watch. I nod, standing up. 

"I'm gonna get popcorn for us and the girls," she says as she points to the popcorn stand. 

"Meet me at the stage when you're done," I say. I sit with Mika and Mary, Julia moves to my lap. "Where's Enid?" Alden asks. 

"She said that she was getting popcorn at a booth from Oceanside," I tell him. The men go back to setting up the stage.

Luke is tuning his guitar, Carl is talking to someone. Mary and I sit in the chairs in front of the makeshift stage. Julia sits in my lap, playing with her new doll, I press a kiss to her gingery hair. 

She smiles up at me, "Love you momma." 

I smile back at her, "I love you too, Pumpkin." 

"I'm gonna go try and find Alya," Mika says. I nod as she gets up out of  the chair. "Stay in the walls," I call out after her, "Got it!" she calls back. 

"Where is everyone?" Luke asks, "Most people left to protect Hilltop," I say, "I think Yumiko and Magna went with the first group." 

"Who are they with?" Luke asks, "Daryl, Michonne, and some others," I say. Luke looks immediately relieved after he knows who his group is with. 

"Have you seen Enid?" Alden questions as he hops down, "We're supposed to go on like ten minutes ago." 

"I haven't seen her since she went to get popcorn," I say, "She probably got caught up with helping Siddiq or something," Alden says. 

"I'll go look for her," Carl says, "I'll be right back." Carl grabs my cheek, I lean up to kiss him.

Ten minutes pass, no Carl, Enid, or Mika.  

"Where did they go?" Alden asks, "I have no idea, I'll check it out," I say. "I'll watch Jules," Mary says, "Thank you," I say. I stand from my seat and walk through the streets. 

I go to the first place I think they might be which is Siddiq's booth but no one is there just the CPR doll and medical equipment. I frown, next is Earl's booth.
