Dear Maggie,

It's hard to say how much I miss you, but I do. Despite everything that happened we're closer, we're a family again and I'm happy that we are a united front, but it cost something. Everything costs something now, more than I think I'm willing to pay. I can't let it cost me anything else especially not now because I'm pregnant. Right now I'm about thirteen weeks along and I'm starting to show. I know that I should be nothing but happy, I can't stop thinking about Carl. He's gone to the Kingdom to be with a girl named Mazie. I never thought this would be the way I lost him but I can't find it in me to forgive him. I don't know if I ever can. He and Daryl got into a fight at the Kingdom, Ezekiel told me. It was mostly yelling but they got a few punches in.

Mika is fifteen, almost sixteen. Julia is so big she'll be seven in just a month, her and Milo are starting to look alike.

There's a new group, they're really bad, they almost killed Jesus. They did kill others, I'll explain when you get back. I know that Michonne has already written you but I'm hoping that my letter will be with one to get you back.

Maggie, the Kingdom is in trouble, it's in serious risk of going under. Carl and Daryl are there to try and help keep it standing but I'm not sure it's going to, it's just a bad feeling that I have and I hope it doesn't happen. If it does the Kingdom people will go to Hilltop. Jerry wants to start calling it Kingtop if that happens. Speaking of Jerry, him and Nabila are moving onto their fourth baby. Dianna got injured pretty badly when trying to fix some pipelines. She succeeded in temporarily fixing them but she was injured in the process. I hope you're okay where you are, that same hope extends to Georgie and the twins. I bet Hershel is big now. He's gonna be in seven in the summer right? I hope you come home soon, Michonne is different now, better. I want you to be able to forgive her like she forgave me. Consider coming home, consider being  back here with us. We miss you.

Love,

Elaine.
