Denver huffed, and slammed the door into Sam's face. Denver was... interesting. The girl had only been there for a week, and managed to get everyone to hate her. Even me.

She arrived last Monday without any luggage, which was something even Piers was surprised about. Her brown hair was tied into a low ponytail, and she smirked, popping her blue gum. "So, Denver. Welcome to SOSA, your new home!" Piers said, grinning. She pushed him out our her way, strutting past.

"Can it, old man," Denver had murmured, tossing open the door to the office. That moment was the exact time that I decided that she'd be my friend. Though, a few days later, another moment changed my mind. It's one thing to bark a sarcastic comment at a grown man, but it's another to make fun of someone defenseless who didn't do anything wrong.

"Well. I officially can't stand her," Jack said, zapping me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah. Talk about bitchy." Tommy huffed, glaring at the spot where Denver once stood. Zane powered down his Titanium, and, as if in response, the others followed suit. The wind slowed as the lightning faded from Tommy's fingertips. Fire left from Jack's complexion, as Kyle shifted back into his human form. I felt the vines trickle down my legs as the objects that Hazzy had lifted fluttered to the ground.

"I dunno about you guys, but I think I'm going to sleep. 'S been a long day." Nia sighed, cracking her knuckles.

"Yeah. What time is it anyway?" Kyle asked, glancing around the room for a clock. When he found none, he shrugged.

"Goodnight, Alliot. It was a pleasure working with you all," Hazzy said over dramatically, bowing.

"Yeah, yeah. Now get out of my dorm," Tommy said. I sauntered over towards the door connecting the four dorms, and walked past Kyle's and Sam's to get to mine and Jack's. I threw myself into the bottom bunk, pulling the covers up to my chin. Thoughts of Alliot, Earth-melding, and Draos slipped through my head, and I slid my eyes shut in attempt to muffle them. I heard Jack close the door to the room softly, and pat up the stairs of the ladder to reach the top bunk. The lights powered off, and I smiled to myself. Nia was right- it had been a long day. But it had certainly been a good one.

I awoke the next morning to the radio in Tommy and Zane's room blasting. "Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! We've got training today, so you better be getting up ASAP!" An accented voice called from the dorm next door, and I grimaced.

"Go away, Tommy. I need sleep," I heard a voice moan. Kyle, I think it was.

"How is he still asleep? The music is literally blaring," Tommy said,

"Sam sleeps through everything. You manage to wake him, I'll go get the girls," Kyle said, and the music switched off. "Good morning, Vietnam!" Kyle shouted, quoting some movie. The door between our dorms was pushed open, and I moaned, pulling the covers over my head. I heard Jack leap down from the top bunk, and watched as she pulled the covers from my face.

"Good morning, Ly! Rise and shine!" She said, and I glanced at the clock across from our bed.

"It's six AM. This is not a good morning," I muttered, rolling over.

"Fine. Sleep through our delightful breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes and strawberries. It's up to you," she said, walking away. My head popped up.

"How did you know those were my favorites?" I asked, narrowing my eyes. Had she been spying on me?

"Zane told me." She smirked, and I peeled the blankets away, standing slowly.

"Of course he did."
