The blood secret

Chapter 12

I opened my eyes and was amazed when i was met by a warm light shining down on me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, double checking i was really awake. I looked around and was so happy when i found Nick asleep on the other sofa. I took a long breath and just laid there for a while, when i finally felt like i could stand, i slowly got up. My legs wobbled as i made my way around the coffee table but after a few seconds, i could feel my legs giving way and before i knew it, i fell backwards but luckily i landed on the sofa, not so lucky for Nick who was now stuck under me.

"Hey, whats happening?" Nick said with a startled look, "Sky, are you alright? Here let me help you." He led me back over to the sofa and laid me down. "What happened to you? One minute we were talking, the next you were out cold." I looked up at him and knew even if i told him it wouldn't change what had just happened. 

For the rest of the night, we sat there and i explained everything to him. About my dreams, the man in them and everything else that has happened since Finn showed up. It felt good to talk to someone about all this, the only person i have to talk to is Finn and that doesn't always go well.

"You know, it feels really good to have someone to talk to. I mean, it's not like i can talk to just anyone about Nephilim's and Fallen angels. They'd probably  think i was crazy." I said as i laughed a little.

"How long was i out for?"

"Some how you were out for two days." He said looking down at me with worry in his eyes.

"I was out for that long, it didn't feel like that." I said rubbing my arms at the sudden chill, of realizing i had just lost two days of my life to a dream. "I didn't say anything while i was out, did i?" I think he could hear the panic in my voice as i asked that question. He looked away and then back at me, his facial expression had changed from worry to happy.

"Yeah you said some funny stuff, while you were out." He said as he sat down next to me, laughing. "I mean nothing embarrassing just things."

"What sort of things?" I said panicking, if i had said anything when i had first gone into the dream, then i was screwed because that would mean that he knew what had happened with Finn and that would be so embarrassing. "How long was i out for before i started talking?"

"About two hours. You started mumbling about something, i think it was about Finn. You kept saying things like, "I wont leave you." and "Your not going to die." It was mostly stuff like that. Why, what did you think i heard?" 

"Oh nothing, just wanted to know that's all." I sat myself up and lent on Nicks shoulder, i still felt a little dizzy but i didn't want to lie down anymore. I needed to get myself up and ready, i also wanted to go make sure that Finn was alright. If i have really been out for two day, who knows what could have happened to him in that time. "Hows Finn?"

"Hes doing better, still in bed asleep but hes woken up a couple of times for a drink and a little bit of food." He said looking at me, "Trust me, hes fine. It will take a lot more than that to kill him." He said smiling, i laughed a little but was still worried about him. I knew it wouldn't help him so i had to stay calm and just wait for him to get better.

"I'm glad you woke me up, i have work tonight. Do you want to come with me or stay here, It's your choice."

"I think ill stay here, i don't feel ready to go out just yet." I said lying down as he got up, feeling another dizzy spell coming over me.

"OK, well help yourself to anything you need. I'm gonna go get dressed, back in a minute." I watched as he walked of, once i knew he was gone i tried standing up again. My legs were wobbly and my head was pounding but i wanted to go see Finn and i also needed to use the bathroom.
