My eyelids slowly forced themselves to open as my ears filled with the sound of my phone buzzing against the night stand.

I sluggishly rolled myself out of the comforting grasp of Chase's arms and grabbed my phone bringing it close to my face in order to be able to read the notifications that were rushing in.

My hands, taking a mind of their own, quickly typed out a shady response underneath charli's post before I allowed any sort of thought process to take place.

I sat up and turned so my back was facing chase.

I knew what I had to do. Even though it was going to hurt us both, but pretending like we could make this work would hurt more in the long run.

There was no way chase and i could have any sort of relationship, while he was being forced to appeal the public eye by being with charli.
I had to end this. For the sake of both of us.

My head fell into my hands as tears began to form in my eyes.
I quickly wiped them away.
Right now, I needed to be strong.
