Some Artees are envious of the Elites. When I was still that girl that can walk the halls undetected, I can hear all their chatter about us. How we’re rich, influential, and privileged.

Well, yes, those are good perks that comes with being born in an Elite Family. But it has its downsides. We’re not as free as the regular citizens of the Kingdom.

Our family, ourselves, are more open to public criticism. And as early as possible we’re taught how to be a public servant.

I’m not sure about Aila’s and Jett’s experiences since I’m homeschooled ever since my parents died. But after my general subjects and history lessons, I still have to learn economics, politics, business, and everything that involves the public.

And the moment we’re born, our future is set. To serve the Kingdom. We need to put the welfare of the citizens of the Kingdom of Artisan before our own interests.

“Imagine if those two aren’t sleeping.”

“Gan’yan ba talaga sila?”

“Yeah. For as long as I can remember.” Sagot ni Gray. “Parang aso’t pusa kapag gising.”

As much as I want to read everything in order to find out the other Greatest Art, I still need to study for my course.

I can actually give more time to read all the journals we found but we’re still practicing the Art of Evolution.

My morning jog woke me up so I didn’t fall asleep like Jett and Aila. That’s why I’m using this time to read more.

And as I read more, I noticed another vague description, one after another. So I took out a pencil to mark those paragraphs to compare.

The greatest gift that no one should mess with. It has its ups and downs. Beauty and difficulty. Once loss, forever gone.

“May nakita ka?”

“Art of Life? That’s the other Greatest Art?” Ani Gray

Life is the greatest gift. A journey that doesn’t end until it’s time for you to die. No one knows when it’ll come and go. There are several challenges that can help you grow. And once you die, that’s the end. That's how the elderlies taught us what life is.
