"Kuya, those creatures could've killed us.

"No one died, right? Besides, I made sure that someone will interfere if things got too life threatening."

I don't know what life threatening is in my brother's dictionary. But I do hope he wasn't talking about when a student is one breath away from death.

"Does it hurt?"

"Not anymore. Wala namang degree yung burn, thankfully." Sagot ni Aila.

"I guess it's a good thing that I pushed you into the ocean." "Aray! Ang sadista mo!"

"Good thing ka r'yan?!"

And I silently agree.

I'm not homicidal but I momentarily became one when we were in the waters. Paano, kung anu-anong pinagsasabi.

Uupo na sana ako nang kilabutan ako. At kusang gumalaw yung katawan ko.

A tall wall of water appeared by the edge of the forest which took all the Evans Hotel and Resort personnel and professors by surprise. As quick as I could, I ran the distance where I am towards the edge of the forest. But before I could reach the place, I saw my brother standing with his arms cross and a serious expression.

The serious expression which I only see when he's in a meeting or meeting someone who he's talking to for pure business. And two students were seated on the sand, one of them being Ace Domingo and an unknown girl.

"Ace Domingo," my brother's threatening voice called, "how stupid are you to break the rules even after being warned?"

"Man, why are you so stingy?" Ace groaned. "We're just waiting for the slow pokes. Give the man some time to taste some girl here!"

"Not on my watch and not in my territory, Domingo." Kuya Luke said, with no hint of emotion. "You better thank my sister put that wall up in time."

"Sister?" Ace asked with his head tilted to one side then he turned around where he saw me. "Oh! The beautiful girl in the dorm club! Hi Miss Evans!"

I squinted my eyes at him because I had the sudden urge to punch his face. But he stared at me for a while and for some reason, he discreetly moved away from the girl beside him.

"I shouldn't have put that wall up." I hissed and my brother was looking at me with questioning eyes.

"Are you suggesting to let people die inside that forest?" Kuya Luke asked me.

"Not exactly..." I trailed "...but the warnings should be enough. It'll be on them if they lose their life."

"Just keep that wall up. Inunahan mo na ako, panindigan mo 'yan." Sabi ni Kuya.
