Shadow: Hmph. You're on, faker! Meet me at Green Forest. (walks off)
[Time Card: Ten Minutes Later.]
[Everyone was at the starting line.]
Sonic: Thanks again for customizing these shoes for us, Tails. It feels like wearing my own shoes again.
Tails: It's no problem at all, Sonic.
Shadow: (takes off his jacket and threw it aside) Hey, less talk, more running!
Sonic: Okay, okay, sheesh. We're ready, Amy!
Amy: Alright, then! (holds up a flag) On your mark, get set, go! (waves the flag)
[Sonic and Shadow started running.]
Tails: And I'm gonna keep score.
Knuckles: You can do it, Sonic!
Rouge: You can win, Shadow!
Cream: I believe in you, Mr. Sonic!
Charmy: I'm with you, guys!
Blaze: Don't give in, Sonic!
Dr. Eggman: Come on, Shadow! Beat his sorry ass!!
Everyone: (throws food at Eggman) Get out of here!!
[Time Card: 14 Laps Later.]
Sonic: So, how much did we do?
Tails: You and Shadow are both tied at seven.
Sonic: Oh... In that case... (looks at Shadow) Head start! (runs off)
Shadow: What the--!? Why, I oughta...! (runs after him)
[Sonic and Shadow ran around the track until they both ran back to the others.]
Sonic: Ha!! I won! Once the fastest thing alive, always the fastest thing alive!
Shadow: The hell are you talking about? I won!
Sonic: No, I won!
Shadow: No, it was me!
Sonic: No, me!!
Shadow: Me!!!
Amy: Actually, it was a tie. You both won.
Sonic and Shadow: (with stunned faces) Oh! (facepalms)
[Everyone started laughing.]
