Sylvari's POV

I woke up fairly early because I could no longer sleep from being so nervous the night before. I had to act completely normal knowing that any sign of acting differently would make me look suspicious to Talia. Before I could worry any longer Talia walked in with my breakfast.

"Good morning Princess!" She said cheerfully.

"I have a wonderful assortment of food I gathered for you this morning. And I was able to get some time off this morning so we could get to know each other better."

A chill ran through me at this sudden change in schedule.

"Well isn't that great Talia but I'm actually not feeling too well this morning and would like to be alone."

Talia looked at me worriedly as she places her palm on my forehead gauging my temperature.

"Hmm...well you don't seem to be too hot." She said suspiciously.

"I don't have a fever but I'm just feeling a bit under the weather. Nothing to worry about but I would like to get some rest." I said as convincing as I could be.

"Well if you insist Sylvari." She said hesitantly.

"If you need anything I will be back later to give you your lunch meal for the day. Please get some rest and I will check on you later."

"Thank you, Talia."

As soon as the doors hissed closed I sat onto my meditation mat on the floor.

"You can do this Sylvari. You can do this." I said hyping myself up.

One deep breath in and out and I was ready.

I opened my eyes to see I was in the torture room that I last saw and spoke with Poe in. But there was no Poe.

"No! They moved him!"

I began mentally searching for him within the ship frantically.

"There!"

I reached out to where I could feel him and projected myself to him. Opening my eyes I could see him being escorted by a stormtrooper. I took this opportunity to reach out to Poe.

I began speaking into his mind.

"Poe. Where are they taking you?"

He stops and immediately pushes the stormtrooper and himself into a empty hallway.

"Sylvari! There you are. This stormtrooper is helping me get off this ship too. Where are you? We can come get you."

"No Poe. I'm too far. There isn't enough time."

The stormtrooper is now talking to Poe.

"Who are you talking to?! We don't have time for this! Follow me or your never getting off of this ship!"

I looked at the stormtrooper and could feel that he was sincere and wasn't harbouring any ill will to Poe.

"Go with him." I urged Poe.

"I can sense he wants to truly help you. I will be here for assistance if needed."

He nods and they both continue moving through the ship inconspicuously. We almost make it to the launching bay where they can sneak aboard a tie fighter when a different stormtrooper approached them.

"FN2187 where are you taking the prisoner? I wasn't aware he was being moved from his cell." he said questionably.

They both froze not sure of what they were going to say to get out of this.

"You will walk away and think nothing of this encounter."

The stormtrooper stiffened and walked away.

"What just happened?" Poe asked.

"I coerced him into leaving now hurry."

They continue moving quickly and made it to a tie fighter.

"This is it." I say to Poe once he was settled in the pilot seat.

"You made it as far as I can lead you. Good luck out there."

"Sylvari...I won't forget you. I will tell the Resistance about you and we will find a way to free you. Stay strong and may the force be with you."

I used the last bit of power I could muster this far out, projecting myself to him so that Poe could see me.

"Thank you for your kind words Poe Dameron. I look forward to meeting you again one day." I smiled.

Poe reached out for my hand and placed a soft kiss upon it.

"Until another day, Sylvari."

I blush from the warmth radiating from my hand.

"You ready to go?" The stormtrooper asked.

"More than ready!" He said confidently.

With that the tie fighter roared to life and began making its way to the exit.

I watch as it passed through me and jumped out into space vanishing within a second.

Suddenly, I hear the hiss of my door open and heavy boots walking in my direction.

I know this so not what happens in the movies but I can do whatever I want. Haha. 😌
