Kylo's POV

"I can feel the anger rolling off of you princess. That's good. Channel it. Feel it. Become one with it."

I line myself up in front of Sylvari waiting for her to make the first move. Eager to see what she can do.

I can feel her rage consume her. Twisting and turning within her until she cannot stand it any longer. She sprints directly at me.

She surprises me by abrubtly stopping only inches away from my face. It was then I felt a shift in the force around us.

My hesitation is my downfall as she leans her body into mine and wraps her arms over on top of my shoulders. Our foreheads barely come in contact with one another. I can feel her breath fan over my face.

Her force begins to meld into mine. Flowing and ebbing together as one. I shutter at this sensation. Opening my eyes I can see hers are closed.

Without hesitation her hands moved to my hair. Caressing and snaking her way through my hair and scalp. I gasp at this pleasurable intrusion.

I am lost in this moment until an instant overwhelming strike of pain invades my mind. I groan and begin to falter in my stance while holding us both. Dropping to my knees I had never felt such power overwhelm me before. I felt completely helpless as the pain increased ten fold causing me to bleed from my nose from the sheer pressure of her force power overtaking my mind. With what little focus I can muster I try to push her out but am useless in ending this torture. My head is splitting.

"Syl... Sylvari!" I yell with all the strength I had left.

Her eyes open and she steps away from me. Regaining her senses back, her face turns into complete disgust.

"You monster!"

"He is your father!"

Her tears are now in overdrive, falling without fail of stopping.

"What about my father?" I say darkly.

"Don't act like you don't know Kylo!"

I go silent pondering on what she could be talking about.

"What did she see? What does she know that I don't?" I thought.

"It's inside of you right now! You don't think you have the strength necessary to do it!" She screams.

A chill ran through my body at this outburst.

"She...there's no way she would know...unless..."

My eyes go wide knowing that she saw straight into my heart. My one weakness. The one thing stopping me from abandoning the light and fully embracing the dark.

"My parents..." I said just above a whisper.

I begin to stand but stumble back a bit and mutter, "I kill my father, don't I?"

Sylvari's POV

"Yes." I say softly, too numb to feel anything after what I had just witnessed.

"I have seen once again what you are capable of Kylo Ren!"

"Princess..."

"Don't...just don't."

"I can expl-"

I hold my hand out and begin to force hold Kylo, stopping him mid sentence.

He eyes me intently knowing what I had just done.

I slowly walk towards him, my hand gripped tightly ensuring my hold over him. I can see it in his eyes. The helplessness he feels in this moment.

I now understood why I was here. The force is showing me pieces of Kylo paving his way deeper and deeper into the dark side. The death and destruction he will create under his rule alone will be unfathomable. I have been shown the beginning of his fall into darkness. I cannot let this happen.

A sudden thought entered my mind.

"He is weak right now. I could end everything right here and now. Who knows how many lives I would be saving in this moment." I thought internally.

Using my other hand I focus on my force power and place my hand on his head and directly make eye contact with him.

Quick gasps of breath leave him as he struggles to breathe. His eyes are wide as he shakes and sputters.

"I could end all of this right here and now!" I say aloud.

I begin to see the color in his face change while the light in his eyes begin to fade.

Watching him I remember seeing the same faces in his victims. Lifeless husks of men, women, and children. The light gone from there eyes, snuffed out by the dark. Senselessly murdered by Kylo Ren.

I release my complete hold over him. He falls to the ground gasping for air. Coughing as he is hunched over trying to regain his breath. He looks up at me.

"Why...why did you..." He said breathlessly.

"I am not like you Kylo Ren. I cannot take life from this world. It is not who I am. I cherish all life. I do not destroy it. No matter who that life belongs to."

I turn facing away from him. Not wanting to feel anything for the man in front of me. I wrap my arms around myself contemplating on what I had just done.

I turn my head over my shoulder and sigh.

"You have brought the worst out of me today. It will not happen again."

I walk away toward the door I came through feeling that Talia was approaching.

Talia walked back into the training grounds. She quickly looks at Kylo then me then back to Kylo.

"Lord Ren!" She shouts running to his side. "

"You're bleeding!" She says with worry.

Kylo motions for her to stop.

"Take the princess back to her quarters." He says coldly.

"Yes, Lord Ren."

She comes over to my side grabbing a hold of my arm gently and begins guiding me out of the training grounds.

Talia made quick work of getting me back to my room. Gently guiding me to sit on my bed she paused.

"I am going to draw you a bath. I don't know what happened between you and Lord Ren but I'm here for you princess.
I'll be right back."

I could hear the water begin to fill the bath. The sweet aroma of the soaps and oil filled my bedroom.

Not long after Talia ushered me in. She slowly peeled off my clothing using her most delicate hand for this task. Once undressed I slowly sank into the bath.

"I will leave you alone to relax princess
I will just be on the other side of the door if you need me." She gave a quick smirk before walking out.

I had felt hollow. Empty. I laid back and let the warm water and soap do there job. I closed my eyes and relaxed letting go of everything I was feeling. For right now I could not face those feelings. I would now tuck them away hoping to never feel such darkness within me again.
