I Found You

Chapter 2

Over lunch me, Lacy, and Jade are talking about our weekends which we all spent the same way. Homework and admissions essays. We decided last year we were all applying for the same university, Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. Ever since I was 10 years old my main focus has been college. But never really thought about what school I would go until Jade found Dalhousie. As soon as she mentioned it, I knew it was the university of my dreams. I think Lacy just agreed with it because she didn't want to be the only one going to a different school.

For me and Jade Nova Scotia makes sense. For me it's far away from my family. For Jade, as far away from B.C as she can get without leaving Canada. Lacy on the other hand has no reason to move. She loves her mom and is always trying to shine so she can show her dad and his "replacement" family that she is doing great without him.

"Uni is going to be amazing!" Jade said in a much to high voice. "Just like senior year, right?" Laughed Lacy and me. Jade is very optimistic. As for me, I am not. However, I am still very excited to go to university. I have always been a straight A student. I like school I know it sounds weird a teenager who actually like school. If it wasn't for having awful teachers at this school I would never want to leave.

Once again, I'm back in history listening to Mrs. Perry talk about the war of 1812, just then my life changed forever. It was the first time I ever saw Jordan Davis. He was by far the best-looking guy in the school probably in the town. He looked like he should be in L.A modeling not going to school in a small town in Ontario Canada. I can't take my eyes off him. To my surprise he sits right beside me. Not like I'll ever have the nerve to talk to him but he picked to sit beside me which is the most exciting part of my senior year so far.

As soon as the bell rings I rush out of class. I can't wait to tell Lacy what happened. Unfortunately, Lex reaches me before I make it out the door. I guess telling Lacy is going have to wait. No way am I telling Lex anything. Not like she won't know him soon enough. He will definitely be with the popular group.

After dropping off Lacy, Lex informs me that Alexis will be coming over. Nothing is worse than when those two are together at the house. They are so loud and I can't even hear myself think, not to mention that Alexis is the rudest person I have ever met except when my mom and dad are around the she acts like she so nice. I really don't like her. As soon as we get home, I go straight to my room no need to wait around to see Alexis. I walk to my room and pull out my phone and notice Jade texted me about 50 times, she finally talked to the girl next door apparently, her name is Danielle, she's a year younger than us, she just moved here from the east coast and as soon as she's done high school she's moving back, and today was her first day at our school but what really caught my attention, she has a brother, named, Jordan.

That night I can't sleep I don't know what it is about him but I can't stop thinking about him. This is stupid, I feel stupid. He is just a boy. He will never give me the time of day. Him sitting beside me is the only the interaction me and him will ever have. When I finally do fall asleep, I dream of him.

The sound of my alarm clock wakes me up 6:00 comes way to fast when you spend half the night thinking about a boy. I don't understand this is the first time this has ever happened to me. I pull myself out of bed and to the shower. For the first time ever, I find myself wanting to look good. Oh god pull yourself together Logan. I take way too long to pick out clothes. By the time I get down stairs Lex is already waiting but the front door. "Finally, usual I'm the slow one." She's not wrong between hair and make-up she usually makes it to the door just in time.

As I pull up to Jades house, I notice she's standing with a girl who is super short but just as beautiful as Jade. She has shoulder length blonde hair. The must be Danielle. When Jade get to the car, she confirms it. "Hey guys, this is Danielle my neighbor can she get a ride with us." Before I can answer I, hear Lex "Omg Danielle, how are you? Logan this is Danielle we have English together" Of course, they are friends already. Sorry Jade, looks like Danielle already found her way in to the popular group. "Hey guys I'm Danielle Davis. You must be Logan and Lacy, Jade told me all about you two yesterday." First off, Danielle seems so nice she might be like Jade no desire to be popular. Secondly, Jordan must actually be her brother, same last name, started school the same day to much of a coincidence not to be.
