The next morning, I wake up earlier to take a shower. There are 10 people in this house and only three bathrooms. After my shower, I go back downstairs to wake up Jordan, Jade, and Lacy so they can get ready to go look at apartments our first viewing is a 10:00 am.
When we get tot he viewing the apartment is beautiful. The bathroom has a shower and bathtub, and a huge mirror with lights surrounding it. The kitchen has all marble countertops, brand new stove and fridge, and all hardwood flooring. Unfortunately, the landlord isn't will to hold the apartment until even with a deposit, and first and last.
Our next viewing today isn't until 2:00 am. Jordan asks us if we want to go to his favorite restaurant. It is a really cute 80's style diner. As soon as we walk in, I see pink hair and blond and an annoying voice. Tessa's here of course she is. "Do you want to leave?" Jordan asks. I shake my head. Tessa has already ruined enough of my trip I'm not going to let her ruin anymore. We sit in a booth and order, then she notices us. "Jordan!" She says in her high-pitched voice. Oh no. Her and Melissa walk over and sit in our booth without asking. Jade realizes who she is and her face changes from happy to pissed really fast.
"Um, can you not see people are sitting here," Jade says. "That's nice I'm talking to an old friend" Tessa says. "Actually, I'm trying to have lunch with my girlfriend and our friends," Jordan says. Thank god. Tessa's face twists in anger, "Oh funny you didn't have a girlfriend the other day at Tyler's" Tessa spits. "Oh, you mean when he literally pushed you off of him?" Jade fires back, Tessa's mouth drops I'm assuming Tessa not use to people fighting back against her. Jade is always quick to defend me and Lacy. "Now if you don't mind, I would like to eat my food without the smell of bottle blonde reeking up the area. Bye! Jade says with a smile and waves.
Tessa and Melissa and leave. "Thank you!" Jordan says to Jade. "I never know what to say to her, she has a way of twisting thing." "No problem. I wasn't going to sit by ideally and watch two of my friends get hurt I love you both too much" Jade says. The rest of the lunch goes by peacefully.
When we get to our next viewing it's nothing like the ad. The bedrooms are so small there won't even be enough room for a double bed and a dresser, and they are painted a weird dark green color. The bathroom only has a stand-up shower and a toilet, no sink, no mirror, the kitchen, and the living room are only separated by a half wall. The worst part, the whole apartment has carpet floors, even the bathroom, and the kitchen. We tell the landlord that we need to talk it over and we will be back to him.
On the drive him Jade whines about our awful luck with apartments so far, "This sucks I hope we have better luck tomorrow or we are going to have to come back." "That wouldn't be such a bad thing would it" Lacy counters. Her words catch me off guard. Two out of the three days we have been here have been bad for me, but Lacy and Jade are having a great time. I hope my week turns around.
When we get back to the house Dani is sitting on the couch talking to one of the twins. I'm never sure who is who when it comes to Mike and Alex, they look way too much alike. "How was apartment hunting?" Dani asks "Not great," We all say at the same time. Jade sits down with Dani and one of the twins and joins in on their conversation, and Lacy goes off to find Brad. I go to lay down in the room I've been staying in. I lay my head on the pillow and close my eyes. Between seeing Tessa again and the awful luck with the apartments, I am exhausted. Just as I start to dose off, I hear a knock on the door. "Come in" I call. Jordan walks in and sits down on the bed beside me. He looks nervous which scares me. "I'm sorry about today I had no idea Tessa was going to bed there." He says. I know it wasn't his intention to go there to see Tessa. "It's okay I'm not mad" I say making sure he knows that seeing her wasn't going to affect anything.
"Mind if I lay with you?" He asks. I move over on the bed giving him room to lay down beside me. The tension is weird between us right now. "Her voice is annoying how did you stay with her so long," I say with a laugh trying to lighten the mood. He chuckles lightly. "I was young and dumb." I lay my head on his chest and he wraps his arms around me
