Zoella POV

We were sitting at the breakfast table when I caught Zavion's gaze fixed on me. I quickly looked away, but I could still sense his eyes lingering. It didn't bother me that he had brought a girl home the night before; what really got under my skin was how unimpressive they were. I decided to wait until everyone had finished eating before I made my move. I had asked Izzy to meet me at the hospital around noon, and she surprised me by arriving early. As I glanced at Charlie's picture, I couldn't help but compare it to the girl standing right in front of me.

"Wow, Eva really nailed it, but why are you here so soon? Shouldn't you be in school?" I asked.

"I don't have classes today, so I figured I'd come," she replied. I pulled her into a hug, grateful for her support and for keeping this big secret from her brothers.

"Eva is genuinely sweet and I am sure you have already noticed that; you'll love spending time with her," I assured Izzy.

"Shall we head in?" she suggested, and I nodded, leading her to Chloe's room. When I opened the door, I was taken aback to see Chloe standing on her own, without any assistance. My bag slipped from my hand as I stood frozen in disbelief.

"Hey, sis," she greeted me with a smile, her surprise evident when she saw me. "Charlie?" she asked.

I could hear Izzy's voice tremble as she whispered, "She really does look like you." Chloe then asked what we were doing there, and Izzy stepped closer, gently touching her cheek. "I came to check on you... a lot," she said.

I took a seat by the window, feeling a wave of happiness. "Chloe, I'm so thrilled to see you recovering so quickly."

"Yes, Zoe, I'm excited too! I can't wait to get our mansion back," she replied with a faint smile.

"I'm working hard to make that happen," I said, sharing a hopeful glance with Izzy.

Izzy got to her feet and straightened her dress. "Chloe, remember back in college when we used to swing by your place for those amazing muffins your grandma baked?" She cleared her throat, trying to jog her memory. "What was the name of that street again?"

Chloe's eyes widened in surprise. "Seriously? You don't remember? It was named after you, silly! Number 9 Charlie Street, how could you forget? By the way, grandma didn't make muffins, she made brownies instead."

Izzy laughed, tapping her forehead. "Oh right, it's been ages since I visited, my bad."

She reminisced, "That place was the only grand mansion in Downtown Manhattan."

"Exactly! How could I forget that?" Izzy chuckled again, then Chloe finally focused on me.

"The doctor said I'll be going home soon, and my memories are starting to come back," she said, taking my hand in hers. "Thanks for everything," she added before pulling me into a hug. A little while later, I watched as Chloe said her goodbyes to Izzy while I escorted her to the door.

"That was close," Izzy remarked.

"You handled it well, and we got the address," I replied.

"What's your plan now?" she asked.

"I need to check out the house for any clues about my parents so we can get our lives back on track."

"But what if someone's living there?" Izzy questioned, pulling off her wig. "It was so hot in there, and I prefer my natural hair," she laughed.

"I doubt it; it's still someone's property, and they can't just take it without the owner's signature. If my dad owns it, I need to find him before anyone else does."
