Miyuki was going to lose her goddamn mind.
"What's wrong, Miyuki-chan?" Naruto asked, taking note of her heavy eye bags and distressed expression.
"Ughhh," she groaned. She looked at Naruto like he was the sun. Too bright for her eyes. The moon was much better, she deduced.
"Miyuki, when are we getting the other scroll? We're almost at the tower," Sasuke interrupted, glancing at her in slight concern. She looked as dead as his parents.
"Hah?" She asked. "Oh. I've already got it," she said sleepily, waving one of her sealing scrolls around. She ignored their questioning looks.
They leapt along until Miyuki noticed the sun was right above them, making her stop. "It's noon," she announced. "Let's stop to eat."
Naruto almost cried at the words, dropping to the floor and thanking kami. Sasuke smirked, leaping down next to him.
"Alright, picnic time in the forest of death!" Miyuki giggled, laying out a—Wait, where'd she get that blanket from?!
Humming, she took out a scroll that looked a lot like an earth scroll. Releasing the seal on it, she opened it and set it on the ground.
Naruto did cry this time, seeing a steaming bowl of miso ramen come out of the scroll. "RAMEN!" He screeched happily.
Sasuke stared at the bento suspiciously, slowly opening the lid and lighting up at the sheer amount of tomatoes in it.
"Don't just eat the tomatoes," Miyuki elbowed him. "Eat everything else, too."
Zetsu came out of a tree and she stumbled, letting out a shriek.
"Kami, Zetsu!" She groaned again. Sasuke and Naruto were staring at the zetsu in slight horror and fascination, eyes wide.
"A team from Otogakure is behind you and will be here in seven seconds," he informed.
Miyuki groaned yet again. She seemed to be doing that a lot lately. "I need some coffee," she muttered. "Holy shi—"
Three sound ninja dropped down in front of them, crazed looks in their eyes and weapons drawn. Cocky smirks adorned their faces, like they weren't about to get their asses beat.
"—zzle sticks.." Miyuki finished, laughing nervously. "Um, hi?"
"We want the girl," Kin smirked. "And the Uchiha."
Team 7 stared blankly at them.
"You do realise that I'm the only Uchiha on this team, right?" Miyuki asked, stamping on Sasuke's foot when he opened his mouth. She rose an eyebrow. "Get your damn facts straight."
The two guys beside Kin—Zaku and Dosu, was it?—hissed. "Don't lie, girly."
Miyuki snorted, readying her kunai and looking at them with a careful eye. "I'm not. Haven't you heard of the only Uchiha left? The one standing right in front of you? Please, this battle will be over as soon as it starts and I won't even have to lift a finger."
They let out hums, smirking. "Is that so?"
"Miyuki, what are you doing?" Sasuke hissed, grabbing her shoulder. She rolled her eyes.
"Do you want in on some action? Grab Naruto—he's been crying over the ramen for at least ten minutes now."
"YEAH! A FIGHT!" The Uzumaki cheered, leaping onto his feet and fist bumping the air.
"If you just hand us the girl...hm, what did Orochimaru-sama say again?" Zaku asked innocently. "Right, the other one's eyes!"
Sasuke appeared behind them, punching them in the backs of their necks and knocking them out. He snorted. "That was painfully easy."
Miyuki finally barked out an order. "Zetsu, dispose of the bodies."
Zetsu emerged from the ground, looking as delighted as he could be. "Itadakimasu," he said lowly, grinning as he appeared next to the bodies.
