Absently shoving a couple dango into her seal to give to Obito, Miyuki took a bite out of her own, lowering her mask straight afterwards.
She stiffened up as someone entered the shop, his mouth stretched out in a grin despite the heavy bags under his eyes.
Uchiha Shisui was out in public.
In a dango shop.
In the dango shop where Miyuki was.
In the dango shop where both Miyuki and Itachi were.
"Fuck," she muttered, running a hand through her hair worriedly. Itachi glanced at her with a mouthful of dango, raising an eyebrow delicately.
He followed her gaze and choked, Kisame reeling back in shock at the sight of the oh so elegant Uchiha choking on his dango. Saving his dignity, he simply swallowed the dango down and sighed.
Shisui scanned the room for a seat.
"Shit shit shit-" Miyuki panicked. "Fuck!"
"I thought he didn't have eyes anymore," Itachi muttered expressionlessly.
"I fucking regrew them!" Miyuki quietly shrieked. "Shit! He knows you! He knows my chakra! Shit!"
"Language," Kisame admonished confusedly, eyes darting back and forth between the two Uchiha.
Not that he knew Miyuki was an Uchiha, of course.
The only free seat was behind their little booth, much to their despair.
Shisui's grin faltered as he passed them, eyes locking onto Itachi.
"H*#CRHGJ(-%]'£2@?\^,*!" Miyuki whispered in panic. I'm not even going to ask what the fuck that means because I'm too scared.
"Itachi-chan?"
Itachi calmly turned. "Shisui," he greeted back.
"Oh shit," Shisui realised. "Hi, Itachi-chan. You're a criminal. Very cool."
Miyuki choked on her laughter through her silent hyperventilation.
"You're alive," Itachi noted.
"Alive but dead inside," Shisui grinned falsely. He sighed. "Do I have to go get authorities now? I'm technically allowed to fight you but I kinda, uh, don't wanna? Sasuke-chan would be mad."
Miyuki cringed.
Kisame looked awkwardly between the two, and Miyuki found herself muttering more ungodly words.
Shisui blinked and they were gone.
"Oh fuck."
