Chapter 3

At the moment Zeke and I got out of the train the only things we saw were light flashes from cameras and stuff. We got taken by guardians to a car that would bring us to the building where we would stay, train, got make-overs and that stuff. When we got out of the car we got brought by a huge room where I could take super fast a glance of the other tributes. Then the curtains got put around us, we got split. This would be the first time I would meet my prep team. After the curtains there came 2 persons. They looked pretty ridiculous. One of them had huge eyelashes and really long fingernails and this bright purple hair and the other person had this pastel yellow skin and this huge canary yellow wig. Their names were Octavia and Venia (Authors note: I just wanted to keep these names the same, I just really like these names) They asked or I could put my clothes off. I did what they ask, but it felt a bit weird. They started waxing my legs. It hurt so so much!! After waxing I could put my clothes back on. Then my stylist came in. He really surprised me, because he seemed to have his natural hair colour. Had some tattoos and some piercings, but not a lot. He looked okay, he introduced himself and his name was Eric. He started doing my make-up. Just some natural, but still more than I would use myself. I almost forgot that the day that the tributes would arrive in the capitol would have the tribute parade. Eric did Braided my hair at the complete top and ended with small space buns. The rest of my hair was just loose. My dress was a mini dress. He was until my knees and was white with huge black patches. I think I had to look like a cow. I still looked pretty nice not really like a cow.

When we waited backstage I finally could take a good look of the other tributes. I had to think  their make-up away. I saw that people already knew each other. Even Zeke. He was talking with the girl from I think 7, she was dressed as a tree, so probably 7. The boy from 7 was talking to the boy from 2. I stayed a bit on my own, gave the horses from our car some sugar cubes when the boy from 7 walked to me and started introducing himself. His name was Tobias, age 18 and he volunteered. I told him also the basic information about me. Then he tried something, It looked like a mix of flirting and normal talking it was like:'' Wait? Did you get reaped? Why would someone see your pretty face got fighten off at the arena?'' I told him:'' Tobias, I'm not that fast impressed, but I'm way stronger than you probably think.'' He looked pretty impressed. ''Okay 10, Let's make an agreement. If I get to impress you before we go into the arena. In every way possible, we got to be allies with 2.'' I agreed. There was a 75% chance that he would fail. Yes, I'm interested in allies, but I wanted to find them myself. Not by some stupid agreement. Tobias would have 5 days. 

When Tobias left everyone had to step in their cars and we would start. Zeke asked what Tobias wanted from me. I answered with:'' Oh, nothing. What did that 7 girl want from you?'' Zeke answered with the same answer: Nothing. Then the horses started walking. We were almost the last car. When we walked into the hall with all the sponsors. Well, I don't know or I can call it hall. I don't know how to call it else. There were like almost millions of people. I started waving and wanted to impress people to let them see that I wasn't just some pretty girl.

I felt literally nothing, I didn't feel my legs or arms. So I didn't saw or felt that Zeke grabbed my hand and lifted it up in the hair. I noticed it when people started throwing flowers at us. I wanted to pull it back but all those people were really enjoying us and I really wanted sponsors. Rud told me how important they were. So I let Zeke did whatever he was doing, but I wouldn't let him get away with this. When we got at the end of the way the horses stopped and the president had a little speech. 

When we got driven away and were backstage again I went pretty mad at him and even started screaming: ''ZEKE, WHY THE H*LL DID YOU DO THAT? WE AREN'T A COUPLE OR SOMETHING. YOU'RE ACTING REALLY WEIRD THE LAST DAYS, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?'' Believe me or not I even wanted to kill him right here with my heels. Some other tributes were looking weird at us, But Rud took us apart and asked pretty calmly what was wrong. I knew he saw everything. So I didn't want to explain it. When Zeke explained that he also would get sponsors I started understanding and we were district partners. He told me also that he wasn't in love with me or something. My lord. Did he really think that I thought he was in love with me?? When we got to our apartment it was really really silent. When we got in our apartment I opened every door to see what was behind it. It was so huge!! I asked why the persons inside were silent and were just standing there. Rud told us that they were avox. People who their tongues got cut off because they did a crime. Does the capitol that when people are rebelling against them? After dinner, I went to my room took a short shower. put my pyjamas on and started clicking on knobs to see what they did. The shower went on multiple times the same happened with the toilet. It flushed multiple times. Then I found a remote control next to my bed. I clicked on some knobs and the window sight changed. I saw the sea, forest, city. I kept it on an open field in the night, It looked exactly like the sight I had from out my own window at home. Then I fell asleep
