One death and four hurt in Darling Point car accident

One woman died and four people were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident late last night in east suburban Darling Point, Sydney. Officials said, according to Battalion Chief Alec Vanken of the Darling Point Fire Protection District, ambulances were called to Greenoaks Avenue near Ocean Avenue and Octagon Road at about 12:17 AM for the accident. According to Darling Point police, two vehicles were attempting to turn simultaneously and one of the vehicles collided into the other, then striking a third.
The Darling Point medical examiner's office identified the woman as Riley Arthen, an 18-year-old college student at Jamison Beauty College. Arthen and central Sydney resident, Luke Hemmings were on their way back from a pool party hosted by a good friend of theirs, Michael Clifford, when a car came sliding sideways towards the two. Luke Hemmings is currently hospitalized along with Annie Freya, Calum Hood, and Rei Yamada.
