Colby's POV

Her Bambi eyes stood clear to me now. I held both of her hands against the wall and held the gun against her stomach. She couldn't move her feet either because I had gently put my own on one of hers. My eyes went over her beautiful features now, but what I could stop looking at was her eyes. So many nuances of brown and almost yellow were moving around in those big eyes of her, and almost made me go into a trance. From the one streak hair she couldn't hide in her hood I could see it was dark brown, her skin was warm-toned even though she did look a little pale right now and her lips were full and spread a little, from the surprise. I noticed she felt uncomfortable and her breathing was fast. I noticed the BMW after I stole the guns and made her follow me until I found out what she wanted. But it didn't look like she had any wishes to hurt me. She only had kitchen knife, but I yanked that out of her hand before I even held the gun to her. I was kinda disappointed I had to do this to her. She didn't look dangerous at all, and I was now holding a gun at her. I though she wanted to hurt me from the way she held the knife, but when that was on the floor, I could see she was looking for something else. The hospital creeped me out and I could smell the dead and rotten smell, which had followed me since the party. Her chest was rising fast and her face looked stern, like she was mad or something. "Who are you, and why are you following me?". I asked, out of curiosity. I took a step back but kept the gun in my hands. I looked at her and how she reacted. She seemed calm, but her chest was still rising fast and her eyes were darting between my own. "I was curious. Normal people don't drive like fucking psychopaths. Besides, quit weird timing to do so if you ask me.". She was talking about the fact that there wasn't any traffic outside and me driving, while having a weird panic attack. Didn't need her to know though. Her voice was beautiful, soft and yet strong. She was even starting a joke with me. "Then why the knife?". She looked at me then the knife laying in front of her. I was scared for a second, that she was gonna take it and stab me, but she answered instead. "Would you feel safe without your gun?". She was nodding at the gun in my hands, which I just stole btw. Wasn't mine and wasn't gonna use it. Hopefully. "No. why thinking I wouldn't hurt you?". She looked at me again, and her eyes went wide. Her breathing sopped immediately and her body froze. I didn't mean to scare her, but I guess it didn't matter what I meant, since I was the one with a loaded gun. She relaxed after a bit and answered me. "If you would hurt me, you would've done it by now, instead of questioning me. Besides, you don't look like the type to run around with guns.". I liked her cocky ways of answering me. Guess that was her defense mechanism right now. "But you were still not convinced enough to just drive by me and knock on the car window?". I saw a smile creep up against her will, and her looking down. "You think you would have let me? I mean I could be anyone driving in a BMW.". "True. But no one drives a BMW like that unless it's a creepy stranger trying to spy on you.". I was comfortable around her, and so I put the gun in the rim of my pants on my bag and began walking away. She looked confused at me, with furrowed brows and her eyes narrowing. I didn't need her. I needed to find Sam though. It felt weird leaving her but I knew she was strong. Every step I took away from her, left a stinging pain in my abdomen. Not just from leaving her, but also from my wound. It hasn't healed and blood was soaking the bandage and my shirt. I hissed at the pain but ignored it. That's when she surprised me. "You need help with that?". How did she know? Had she been following me since I left the house? There was no way. "What are you talking about? Her bambi eyes went to my eyes before they went to my body and the wound. She looked at it like she could see through my shirt. "I'm fine, thanks.". I tried to be polite, but to be honest if she was a doctor it would help me a lot right now. It was a fucking gunshot wound. How was I gonna make myself recover when the hospital was down. I walked away from her, while trying to get her out of my head. Her voice, her smell and her eyes still lingered in my mind when I opened the car door. Should I have left her? Why was she even still in there? "You know what? None of my business. None of my problem, and I did not need her. I need to find Sam.". I quickly turned on the car and looked in the review mirror for a moment.
