The Arthouse Hotel
February 22nd,2020 (8pm)Fuck.
We all stood there, dead in our tracks like deers in headlights.
Brianna laid there, bloodied and motionless. Her cold eyes stared at the ceiling. That was it. She was dead.
*knock knock knock*
"It's the police, open the door!""Ahhh what the FUCK!" Baltimore rested his hands on top of his head then paced. "I can't go back to jail fucking with y'all!" he looked at Reese and I with a deranged look on his sweaty face.
*beep*
The door opened and a janitor hurried out of the way, a tall, black NYPD officer and another officer, a latina woman filed in, guns aimed at the three suspects surrounding the dead girl in the glass mess.
"Hands up! Don't fucking move!" she shouted. Bitch we ain't even blink and you all like don't move.
Yet, I did as I was told, we all did, Baltimore kissing his teeth and complying. Reese stared at the ground the entire time, the black officer clasped the cuffs around my small wrists, then shoved me towards the door.
Everything was in slow motion, I took one more glance at Brianna's lifeless body on the ground.
Glass crunched under my feet as I was lead out of the room and down the hallway to the elevator, the other officer with Reese and B.
Thankfully, the lobby was empty, with the exception of an old white man at the front desk who slept quietly. His mouth was open and his eyes were slightly open, rolled to the back of his head. Maybe whoever called the police should call EMS too, snitch ass bitch.
"Watch your head." the young black (and handsome) officer said as he shoved me, then Reese then Baltimore into the backseat.
"Haven't been in one of these bad boys in a minute." Baltimore broke the silence, Reese shifted uncomfortably.
————"You hungry ?"
I looked up at the black officer as he walked into the interrogation room. He was carrying a box of doughnuts, which he then sat on the table and slid over to me. The temptation...
———-
"You ready to talk now or are you gonna finish the rest of the box? Boy do you got a stomach on you!" the officer watches fascinatingly as I ate my 6th doughnut."I eat a lot when I'm stressed, but you wouldn't be able to tell cause it's not everyday that you're arrested for a murder you didn't commit because it's not a murder at all... she fell. You know?" I finished and then grabbed a napkin with the hand that wasn't cuffed to a table.
"Hey, I'm just here to get all the facts." he leaned back and shrugged and the hanging lamp highlighted his chiseled jaw and soft pink lips.
Snap out of it Kellandra.
"Where are they?" I was worried about Reese, and even Baltimore's doofy ass.
"Your boyfriend and his friend are being interrogated. Well, they're waiting for their lawyers, we contacted yours and he said he's on his way."
"Good, cause I ain't saying shit else." I leaned in closer and smirked.
He looked around and then back at me. "Shit, I don't blame you... this some serious shit you're wrapped in, Kellandra. Or Kelly, can I call you Kelly?" he leaned onto the table and looked me dead in my eyes, then licked his lips.
