~I'm not familiar with her name, but this is what I imagine Haley looking like but with brown eyes. If you know who she is, let me know!~

2am
Roughly 37 hours until SamhainHaley
For hours I sit in between Cathy and Maeve, suffering in silence. I struggle to get comfortable sitting in between the glares of the women on either side of me. Cathy's anger is justified, but Maeve's? Maeve's was just her being an asshole.
"Will you two please stop looking at me like that?" I grumble to them as I glance nervously out of the window shield.
Even the blonde faerie driving is looking uncomfortable with all of the hostile energy in the car. Did I mention that Finan looks like he has a foot up his ass? Well he does. Had blondie not looked like he was going to eat me earlier, I would've tried striking up a conversation with the hunk seeing as he was the only one in the car not looking like a psychopath. Ya know, regardless of him being a faerie.
As soon as I sat down in the back seat of the car after Finan and his friend found me, Finan's soft demeanor that made me put my hand in his turned to steel. The blonde faerie followed shortly after us, refusing to meet my eyes even as he apologized for nearly attacking me, much to Finan's obvious pleasure.
"Can I please know where we're going?" I ask when no one so much as breathes to disturb the excruciating silence in the car.
"You can," Finan says, but then says nothing more.
My hope at a normal conversation disappears when I realize what he said.
"Wow, you're so funny. Real mature, Finan," I say as I roll my eyes with am unamused smile.
He takes a sharp breath and I watch as his knuckles turn white from gripping the center console too tightly. Did I say something wrong?
"Finan?" I whisper as I look from his hands to his face, which looks as if he's in great pain, "Finan, are you-"
He growls and slams his fist down on the center console, making it snap in half.
"Ah!"
"My car!"
The blonde faerie and I both exclaim at the same time.
"Stop using my name, human," Finan growls, "I am Lord or your majesty."
The skies darken, as they always did when Finan had a mood swing, and I nod.
"I'm sorry," I say, ashamed, as I look down at my lap.
God, I'm so stupid. I should know better than to use a faeries real name. He probably hates it when his name comes out of my mouth, or when I even think it.
But when my name comes out of his...
No, Haley. Stop.
Why did I even want to form a friendship with them? They're forcing me to become a faerie. To have children. I don't need to be their friend. Just because Finan showed me one kind moment did not mean that he was kind, and he proved that he isn't plenty of times already.
Cathy puts aside her anger to wrap her arm around my shoulders and Maeve rests her hand on my knee. I look at Cathy and then I look at Maeve, who mouths 'he's an ass, don't worry about it'. I give her a small smile and nod. There's no other way for me to express my gratitude without saying 'thank you', so I've settled for nodding and smiling.
"I don't know about you two imbeciles, but I'm starving. My fangs ache," Maeve says as she leans back against her seat, "Can we stop somewhere to eat?"
The tension that felt like it was eating me alive lightens and I quietly let out a breath of relief. Maeve even managed to drag a quiet titter out of the blonde faerie. I see blondie roll his eyes in the rear view mirror and Finan grumble under his breath.
