BOTTLING PLANT
↳ La Favela
BRUCE
AN ENORMOUS SPRAWLING FOREST OF MACHINERY, STEAM PIPES, CONVEYOR BELTS. All in a huge open floor with a high tin-roof ceiling, a catwalk runs around the perimeter above and across the top of certain machines. The soda bottling plant called GUARANA, had offered the former brilliant scientist with 7 PH. D's, a rudimentary job. His job consisted of assisting the workers which were in delivering supplies such as bottle caps or empty bottles.
Bruce Banner greeted his fellow co-workers with a nod before handing them the bottle caps, Bruce pushed the cart through the large crowded hall as he moved on to the next section. Sweat rolled down his forehead onto his neck, he huffed in annoyance at the extreme heat that circles around due to the steam pipes. In his head, he reminiscent of the time when all he had to do is be his brilliant and ambitious self, wear a lab coat, and be confined in a room with AC.
A heavy sigh escaped his lips as he shook his head, ridding himself of the past because he knew that if he didn't find a cure he couldn't go back to the life he left behind. He couldn't go back to the woman he fell madly in love with, despite almost being killed by his hand once the gamma serum took a dark turn. Leaving Banner, no option but to flee. Bruce would often rack his brain as he tried to figure what he did wrong, he was rarely wrong, he was the man for the job.
Believing that the key component into replicating Dr. Erskine's super serum was a dose of gamma radiation, but boy was Dr. Banner wrong? Well, half wrong, the serum still allowed him to run super-fast, incredible strength, and even hyper-tissue regeneration. He did manage to unlock a part of Erskine's serum, the experiment would've been a success if it wasn't because of a slight side effect.
In reality that's an oversimplification, there's no such thing as slight when Bruce Banner turns into a huge beast with an anger management issues. Deep down it scares him more than it annoys him, the thought of having to live forever with that thing inside of him.
Taking yet another deep breath, Banner shakes his head and focuses on delivering the supplies. He approaches a young Brazilian woman, Martina Acosta, he takes the box of bottle caps and places it on the floor beside her. The sound alerting the young woman of someone's presence, Martina turns to face Bruce and a friendly smile overcomes her beautiful features.
