BRUCE
THE FORMER SCIENTIST WALKS DOWN THE AISLE OF MACHINERY, CARTING SUPPLIES AS USUAL. Bruce's expression was somber, disappointment and boredom evident in his eyes as she continues to pass down the supplies without sparring a glance at his co-workers. Bruce Banner had huge hopes that the flower would be the key to reverse the gamma radiation, allowing his cells to return to normal. But the gamma radiation lived inside of him, it had turn Bruce into its permanent host, leaving the man even more deluded.
All his dreams of marrying and starting a family were flushed down the drain after every fail attempt to reverse the gamma effect, Bruce's face darkens as he recalled a distant yet clear memory of the time he hit rock bottom. Banner shoves the barrel of a gun inside his mouth, tears rolling down his puffy eyes, and with a heavy heart, he had pulled the trigger only for the green monster to appear and save him from imminent death. Bruce still conserved the bullet the green guy had spit out, it served as a reminder of what could've been his last day on this earth.
Much to his dismay, it didn't stick.
A loud ring pulled Bruce out of his head, the brunet blink before stationing the cart on a corner. He took out a piece of cloth and passed it all over his face, removing the sweat that had gather on his forehead and trail down his temple, he then moved it behind his neck. Putting the cloth away, Bruce Banner made his way down the path to the entrance, it was break time and Bruce was famished.
Banner casually glanced at Martina's station, hoping to find her there, for his luck she was there. A frown fell on Bruce as he came to a sudden stop, Martina was surrounded by four men.
"Por favor, não quero nenhum problema. Apenas me deixe ir." Martina pleaded, eyes wide with alertness. Please, I don't want any trouble. Just let me go.
Bruce didn't have to know Portuguese to know what was happening, Martina Acosta was being hassled by these men. The bald, petite man took a step closer to her. "Não há razão para ser tímido. Nos dê um sorriso lindo." There is no reason to be shy. Give us a beautiful smile.
