In the first few nights, Niko hardly slept at night as he watched Riki in deep slumber. He couldn't believe that the girl he was just watching from across the street was now just a few feet away from him and on his bed! Rj nodded. "The black and white bear with black sa eyes...like KungFu Panda..."
"Tungfu Pamba?"
"KungFu...K..KungFu Panda..." Rj said.
"...Tungfu Pamba..." Menggay insisted.
Niko smiled, raised his eyebrows and slightly nodded to acknowledge what Menggay just said. The older kids understood and just kept quiet. "Did you watch the movie?"
The kids agreed collectively. Then almost everyone started to stand up from their seats and pretended to do some kungfu moves. Instinctively, Niko turned the kids' actions into a dance. He named each movement with the name of the child who shared the movement (eg. Rj's punch; Menggay's kick, Guada's turn, etc). "We'll include our dance to our morning greetings and warm up, okay?" Niko suggested. The kids were excited.
Riki beamed at Niko as he ended his session. She had always wondered how he conducted his classes and she saw how the kids were engaged and responded to Niko well. She was amazed at how he was able to hold their attention and that everyone participated well. It was as if they were all in a regular classroom.

Because of their very limited physical interaction over the past weeks, Niko hardly noticed that Riki's 'quarantine period' was over. Niko would normally while the time away after their exercise on the roof top, by playing his guitar. This gave Riki time to take a shower and prepare their dinner (Niko showered while Riki cooked). Because of the lockdown, they were both forced to learn how to cook more.
After dinner, they would either watch TV together or Niko would play his guitar again until Riki decides to retire and he would follow soon after. Tonight, they decided to watch TV.
Niko placed a pillow on his lap as was his habit. Riki soon lay her head on the pillow and Niko absent-mindedly started playing with Riki's hair. A long while later, Riki stood up and Niko followed her with his gaze. When she entered the bedroom, Niko switched off the TV and followed RIki into the bedroom. She waited for him by the door and when he came closer, she held out the belt of her robe and said, "pull"
Niko pulled on the belt and was surprised to see a fully naked Riki standing in front of him with only the bedside table light illuminating the bedroom. The lights in the rest of the apartment were already switched off and only the light from the fish tank was on. As a bonus surprise, Niko didn't see his mattress on the floor next to the bed. Riki walked to the bed and crawled on to it exposing herself to a stunned Niko who was still standing by the door wondering what was going on. "Aren't you coming to bed?
